Since the Pledge of Allegiance

are not allowed in most
public schools anymore
Because the word "God" is mentioned....
A kid in Arizona wrote the attached
NEW School prayer.
Now I sit me down in school
Where praying is against the rule
For this great nation under God
Finds mention of Him very odd.
If Scripture now the class recites,
It violates the Bill of Rights.
And anytime my head I bow
Becomes a Federal matter now.
Our hair can be purple, orange or green,
That's no offense; it's a freedom scene.
The law is specific, the law is precise.
Prayers spoken aloud are a serious vice.
For praying in a public hall
Might offend someone with no faith at all.
In silence alone we must meditate,
God's name is prohibited by the state.
We're allowed to cuss and dress like freaks,
And pierce our noses, tongues and cheeks.
They've outlawed guns, but FIRST the Bible.
To quote the Good Book makes me liable.
We can elect a pregnant Senior Queen,
And the 'unwed daddy,' our Senior King.
It's "inappropriate" to teach right from wrong,
We're taught that such "judgments" do not belong.
We can get our condoms and birth controls,
Study witchcraft, vampires and totem poles.
But the Ten Commandments are not allowed,
No word of God must reach this crowd.
It's scary here I must confess,
When chaos reigns the school's a mess.
So, Lord, this silent plea I make:
Should I be shot; My soul please take!

I'm sorry but I can't resist commenting on how stupid this is. The quality of the writing is good, but the message is fuckin stupid. There aren't any rules stopping students from praying in school. You can pray if you want to, even outloud, just as long as you aren't dissrupting anything. There's just rules against the school officialls mandating in any way. Seperation between church and state. It's a good thing, or atleast I think it is, I haven't experienced it much living in Utah!!! But is seems like a rather good thing when actually practiced. How would the kid like it if they just imposed a thing where everyone had to bring a chicken to school, so they could dance naked around a fire, and sacrifice it? It's an extreme, but it would be fun to some, and quete offensive to others. In some schools they do have rules against some of the stuff the poem mentioned, why? cuz of STUPID FUCKING PEOPLE LIKE THE KID WHO WROTE THE POEM!!!!!!
It's awefull how they seem to talk about the other things that go on as a bad things. Yeah, what the fuck are you doing criticizing the pregnant promqueen, and the handing out of condoms????? It's really hard for me to understand how someone could have a brain to write the poem, but not think the fucker through. The best part of me wants to call the kid a complete fucking morron. That atleast gives him the benifit of the doubt. Some people are just plain stupid, and they can't help it. But the more I think about it, he is smart, and he could have thought it through, and maybe even did, and still didn't care. He just wrote the peom catering to the stupid fucking people he knew would read and like it. The piece of shit is taking advantage of all the fucking idiots out there who read it without really thinking about it. That, is really low.
I almost feel pitty for the brainwashed piece of shit who wrote this poem. " If you are ashamed of me, I will be ashamed of you before my Father " Awe, how nice, he's going to tell his daddy on me!!! ya know what, I'm ashamed of your father, and ashamed of you for supporting him. And I'm especially ashamed of the kid who wrote this poem, I hope that one day he matures, and understands things better, and maybe grows up to be less condascending towards, all those things he mentioned above. Yah, I seem kinda condascending, while calling someone condascendig and stupid. I'm also predjudice against predjudice people.
I got a thing to say about the plank too. I see my fucking plank, and I'll beat you over the head with it, to help you out with that speck. Specs are often harder to remove than planks, because they are so often over looked. It's obvious if you have a plank, no one really needs to alert you to it. Ya gotta keep a sharp eye out for them specs though. And I appreciate anyone who points them out to me. So I do the same for others.
