Not a good day

Start off the day with a trip to the orthodontist. FUN! I can't eat yet again because it feels like ice picks stabbing me in the nerve, swollen face. Truly, sick of this wire crap. Granted, had a new panoramic x-ray done and the change is beyond amazing. I never really thought my mouth was in that bad of shape before. Sure, I had an underbite and they weren't straight straight, but I didn't think it was THAT bad. I stand corrected. LOL

Then the delightful fools online that insist you wanna see their Yahoo sized cocks on cam. Serously! If that's all you can offer, then you're just really pathetic.

Muttle through the day. Train to bus. Par the course, the bus is late. The driver doesn't care. It's his last run for the night. On the bus and now to get out of the station. You need to make U to get out. Waiting, waiting. One of the CTA line operators tell our driver to use the other lane. FINALLY, on my way home.

Glance out the window to see what was causing the delay. A person laying flat down on the payment between two buses. Okay, that'll do it. I didn't think much of it at first. If you take public transportation, you see people do a lot of stupid shit. Case in point, was taking the train one day, woman comes walking through crying how she's hungry and hasn't eat in days...between bites of her tortilla. Um, hello, did you forget you were eating something now?

Anyway, back to today. Our bus creeps up a little further. I'm looking at the person wondering why they're not getting up. If they tripped and fell they should be up by now or at least moving a bit. They're laying in a puddle of water or at least that's what I'm hoping it is. Snow and ice are melting so that's a pretty good guess, but people are nasty at bus stations. I've seen guys whp their shit out and piss in a garbage can in front of you.

Slowly move up a bit further. Hmm, the water's red. *blinks a few times* It sort of hits me at this point that it's not water, but their blood pooling around them. I look away only to look back again. My mind takes in how the person is laying, positioning, etc. Yeah, this person isn't going to be getting up today or any other day for that matter. My eyes move to the blood seeping across the pavement. I feel like I'm going to hurl. I can't help but notice how REALLY red it is. Nothing like you see in the movies. It's almost so red it looks fake but as you stare at the lifeless body you know there's no way it can be fake.

I then notice other people standing around waiting for their buses.  I'm sure they were there all the time, but for some reason just notice them. Then it hits me, no one is even paying the least bit of attention to the fact that someone is lying there on the ground, barely feet away from them, bleeding to dead. How removed have we become as a society that no one seems even remotely to care?
