He was the illegitimate son of a peasant woman and Florentine merchant who became one of the greatest painters and most versatile geniuses the world has ever known.
He was a brilliant architect, engineer, military strategist, inventor, and scientist whose ideas and designs were centuries ahead of their time.
He was the creator of such masterpieces as The Last Supper and Mona Lisa. His influence lives on to this day in his paintings, writings, and sketches.
