I am very upset over the race at Talladega yest. Two very good racers were put out of a race buy a very wrong move.
Yes I am a huge Jr. fan and I am not going to lie I was so hoping that he would win yest. Not just because I am a fan. I also wanted him to win because he really needed a win for the points and it was Talladega!
I was on the edge of my seat with the phone in my hand ready to call my mom and my friends and celebrate a long over due win for him. I was dancing all over the living room floor with my kids looking at me like I was a nut!! Then with less than a lap to go...POW here comes Brian Vickers!!! OMG!!!
I could understand him doing what he did if he was running for a championship tittle!! But he wasn't.
I am in now way a Jimmie Johnson fan but I feel really bad for him. He had a really good run on Jr. and was took out by his own team mate. That is so wrong!!
It is a very good thing he went straight to Victory Lane and didnt do a lap!! He would have felt just what Gordon felt whe he won..That's right, his car would heave been pelted with Budweiser cans!! Good thing I wasn't there. I would have thrown the entire cooler at him.
I just feel like he should have stayed in the back of both drivers!! That's just my opinion and we all have em!!
Other than that I really enjoyed the race and even though Jr. got wrecked I am still very proud of him. He had a very good car Sunday. I mean look at the stats.
He started 33rd and in less than 50 laps he was leading the race. Then he had some trouble and went a lap down and got it back without having to be the lucky dog. He ran a VERY VERY good race!!!
Oh one other thing..This is for GORDON!!!
If U can't handle being bumped then MOVE your crybaby butt out of the way!!!! Sorry Christina...no offense intended!!!
Dale Jr. was not the only driver out there bump drafting. The only reason he was whining over it was because he got his car tore up and took a big hit in the point standing. I am sure if he had won the race he would have never said a word about agressive bump drafting by any drivers!!
Now on a lighter note....CONGRATS!! to Mark Martin for his win in the truck race. Also CONGRATS!! on his move up in the point standings!!!!
