Well, Last Friday was my birthday, and I'm officially a 40-something. Funny, I don't feel any differently. Still enjoying life... looking for love (although I have a prospect or two beginning...)... still trying to work on my website... still spend way too much time on the 'Net...
My uncle is about through with his treatment (see my blog from 8/19/06,
So much in my life), but he's still very tired. His nasal passages aren't much different - air still feels cold to him. But he should be done with the carcenoma. No metastisis, no spreading at all. And he doesn't feel like he needs to blow his nose all the time!
My nephew is riding the ragged edge of disaster - again. He's as bright a young boy as you'll ever see, personable, and wants to be just like his uncle - a smart ass. (Just the kind of role model I've ALWAYS wanted to be... ) :-P He has been doing his homework lately, and his grades have slipped. And it's always the same thing - " I have no home work." I keep trying to convince him he's not demonstrating a desire to be 14. He's not listening.
My sister changed jobs since my last "Life" blog... She's doing fine there. However, the woman who got her the job (more or less) seems to be treating her less nicely lately. Sis has become a sideshow in an office melodrama... More on that another day
Wednesday we saw Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, the last of the summer musicals for which we had tickets. It was awesome! Every bit as good as the movie was!
And the stupi passion vine I went out of my way to find, bought, nurtured, fertilized, watered, and wouldn't bloom all damned summer, finally bloomed! It's gone CRAZY with fowlers! It's gorgeous! Now if I can just get it to quit eating my sister's rose bush...
I've promised to help a friend get her web site up and running... I'll let you know how that goes...

Well, I'll post more later on the sitcom that is my life another day. Love you all lots! (As friends, mostly, of course!) Shout-outs to Layla the HAMSTER (Ya happy now?), Karena and Venus!
Rock on!
