I have a friend that's fading away,
I use to talk to her almost everyday
We talked and laughed and shared so much,
And now we barely keep in touch
Nothing is forever,
And I know this is true
But when you're loosing your best friend
What do you do?
I try to hide it
And just let it go
But she was my best friend,
And it hurts me so!
I've often been told
And this I know
If you love something,
Let it go!
But would you come back
In the end?
Where you ever truely my friend?
For a real friendship forever grows
But will ours, nobody knows!
For if some reason
This world I suddenly left
Know in your heart,
You were the best!
And one day
We'll meet again
On the other side,
In the "circle of friends"
Maybe I would tell you I was busy
And to come back again
But I couldn't do that,
