The days can be long and sometimes blue
When the work seems to never end
I look at you my child, my friend
I see your beaufiful little face
And know that I can never replace
This love I feel so deep within
I think of you and I start to grin
When morning comes and you arise
I see the sunshine in your eyes
I smell your hair and hold you tight
Knowing that you will be alright.....
As the day goes by
And I'm winding down
