the drive to jess' house was fine. my dad rode in the subaru and my mom drove ahead of us so we could follow. we got there and jess and andrew came out to meet us. the driveway was icy so it was funny to watch me try to balance everything and try not to slide. we chilled at her house, then jumped into her dad's truck (me and andrew squished in the back) and drove to the room at the community center. we only had to unload food and drinks and run outside for cigarette breaks.
the band got there and andrew apperantly knows them. i had no idea they were a heavy metal band but it worked out nicely with the DJ. we helped finish decorating and mingled wit the early people. my friend chris s., angel, vicky, george, andrew, "white chocolate", and ivan were there. not a lot of people showed up and a few left to go get some drugs. i danced with the jess and ali and some other girls to most of the songs. after the band tho, it got boring and i ended up sittin outside for a lot of it in short-sleeves. greg (jess' recently married brother) came outside to chill and we chatted. we admitted we werent as innocent as we both thought we were and compared numbers on how mnay people we've done. at one point, i went inside and stood against the wall until chris s. dragged me onto the dance floor where we danced for a few songs. we grinded (sorta) and freak danced and we kissed at one point. i kissed his cheek later as a thank you for being sweet at one point. after the kiss of course my mind was like "yes!!" cuz i've always wanted to kiss him and he never wanted to which was fine wit me. after the party, i got to ride shotgun in greg's car on the way home (it was fun to speed in his car with his mom yellin at him to slow down). he said he'd show me how to drive a stick shift when i come back and vicky was jealous cuz he never offered to show her how to.
sunday i drove home and got lost in rockville for a little bit. i went to rachel's bday party at her house and ate waaaaaaaay too much food (the cake was the most airy and filling thing EVER). we jumped into the car and went to the ice rink to ice skate. alison and me didnt let go of the wall for ages. i had forgotten how to skate cuz of the last two times and i dont know alison's excuse. she had a controlled fall and after that we were good.
today i went to my internship and OMFG it was COLD!! it got colder as the day went on too. my boss and i had to go out and save people. we saved this one kid who works at the station in the afternoons even tho he was a block away and could've walked. he had let his gas tank go down to empty so we had to go give him enough gass to drive to the station and fill up. then we went out to change a flat tire, to pump up a flat enough to get back to the station, go pick up batteries and then go to the bank. yea it was a fun morning (all of the happened between 8 and 11 am). then my afternoon was me chillin and hittin on mechanics, a tow guy and a hispanic guy. the mechanics are good guys so they're just cool wit me being there in general. the tow guy waved at me thru the window then said (when jennifer was payin him) that his day had gotten better cuz he was between two beautiful girls and he said privately to me that he would have to tow more to our station lol. the hispanic guy hit on me more than i hit on him. he was a cutie tho. he said he'd have to come by more to see me and i told him that was cool wit me. all day i felt like i was on prozac cuz everyone who walked in, i was super polite to and even put on my fake-sweet telephone voice when i answered the phone a few times.
grrrrr it's supposed to be colder tomorrow...
