So I've noticed that lots of people say that we wouldn't have any morals if it wasn't for an authoritarian dictator in the sky..

That we wouldn't know right from wrong without this being telling us.  We would all be running around massacring and raping people.

First of all, how do you know he's the good guy? The christian god drowned all his kids because some people liked buttsex.  The only people he didn't drown were the ones he considered "righteous", who are the same people who whored their pre-teen daughters out to a village full of people to gangbang almost to the point of death, just to protect a couple drifters.  Those are the RIGHTEOUS?  That's what this guy is preaching?  The christian god says you are allowed to own and beat your slaves as long as they don't die in 2-3 days from the beating. He says rape victims are property, and they should be given to the rapist in marriage.

If you think these things are IMMORAL, then you have just exercised your OWN MORALITY which conflicts with GOD'S MORALITY, meaning you didn't get that "moral ability" from him.

If you think these things are MORAL, then you are sick and twisted, and I would even go as far as saying that you shouldn't be allowed around children.

If god is why we have morals, then how do we know if he's the good guy? Maybe it's the other guy? Maybe it's the guy sitting there silent, not trying to force anything on anyone, not telling people who they can and can't have sex with, not telling people to drown their children because they're possessed, not telling people that LIFE is worthless because there is an eternity of paradise afterwards.  It sounds like this GOD fellow is trying super hard to convince you that having fun is going to send you to some shitty ass place, while the other isn't saying a word.. Maybe he's just sitting there shaking his head, like.. Really?

I know god is the right one because God told me so!  Wouldn't the bad guy say that too?  I know god is the right one because he CAN'T LIE!  Couldn't a liar claim to not be able to lie too?

When it comes down to it, people are making a MORAL JUDGMENT when they say that God is the moral one, and satan is the immoral one.  They are saying that GOD seems to be the honest one, because he says he's the honest one, and that's all the convincing i need!
