ok, seriously...  

Its been 24 hours since the passing of Michael Jackson.

And the Jokes are flying outrageously.  

Really?  Gonna crack jokes about someone whos body hasnt even turned cold yet?  I mean how sad...  Regardless to what he may have or may not have been (and it's here that I would like to point out that he was never convicted of anything.)  First case was dismissed due to lack of evidence, and second case he was aquitted.  Does this mean that he was innocent?  In the eyes of the Law, Yes.  In the eyes of others, No.  

However, I think that most everyone here is neglecting the fact that as a child, he was physically, and emotionally abused.  Studies show that abuse like that can have an adverse effect on a persons emotional state of mind.  No im not making excuses, im pointing out facts.

Personally, I think Michael Jackson was vilified by the media and no matter what would have happened...  He was going to carry this burden for the rest of his life, in which he has.  I seem to recall the first time around there were recordings of the accusing parties talking about how they were out to destroy him or what ever...  

I also think that people are forgetting all the GOOD he has done, not just here in the states, but world wide.  The Charities, the money he has donated.  NOT TO MENTION, the inspiration he has caused for MANY people world wide.  Modern artists such as Justin Timberlake, Kanye West, P Diddy.  

Michael Jacksons music was known world wide.  He was an Icon.  A Living Legend.  And yes, I admire him for the things hes accomplished in the musical world.  Not just for Pop, but also for Rock, and RnB, and Hip Hop.  He has transcended all genres of music.

And to all you Haters, Yeah, I know that when one of his songs come on, you are sercretly singin along.  Or You had the glove or jacket or danced to his music video's wanting to be him.  Let the man rest in peace for God's sake, allow his family that much.  Im pretty certain you guys wouldnt want to see one of YOUR family members slammed in this manner, no matter WHAT they may or MAY NOT have done.

Be that as it may, you cant hate someone and still sing thier songs.  Artists of the world are all saying what an inspiration he was to them and thier music.  That is why his songs are getting remade, are sampled, are still held in the highest regards.  I mean, Thriller...  8 Grammy's, Rock, Pop, and RnB.  7 of the 9 songs all reaching the top ten billboard top 100...  The guy is a pure musical genius.  You can't take that away from him no matter what he MAY or MAY NOT have done.  

Slam me all you want.  This is America and we are all entitlled to our own opinions.  Down rate me for voiceing mind.  Ask me if I really give a rats ass one way or another.  But all the haters...  yeah.  Keep hating cause what have you done to significantly impact something in this world?  I can tell you that I haven't done a damn thing.  But I respect the man for what he has done for the music community.  And you are DAMN RIGHT I will jam out to some MJ in my car when im cruisin down the road.  I really dont give a flying rats ass what anyone thinks of me.
