A shelter from the storm
It exists to give you comfort
It is there to keep you warm
Prehaps Love will cause you trouble
Leave you broken and alone
The memory of love can burn your bones
Pass by the open window
Trust no open door
It invites you to come closer
To bleed you ever more
You will eventually lose yourself
And before the night is through
The memory of love will swallow you...
