What are you waiting for?

I love you more than ever, more than time and more than love,

I love you more than money and more than the stars above,

Love you more than madness, more than dreams upon the sea,

Love you more than life itself, you mean that much to me.

Ever since you walked right in, the circle's been complete,

I've said goodbye to haunted rooms and faces in the street,

To the courtyard of the jester which is hidden from the sun,

I love you more than ever and I haven't yet begun.

You breathed on me and made my life a richer one to live,

When I was deep in poverty you taught me how to give,

Dried the tears up from my dreams and pulled me from the hole,

I love you more than ever and it binds me to the soul

You gave me friendship, gave me love what is more, you saved my life,

Eye for eye and tooth for tooth, your love cuts like a knife,

My thoughts of you don't ever rest, they'd kill me if I lie,

I'd sacrifice the world for you and watch my senses die.

The tune that is yours and mine to play upon this earth,

We'll play it out the best we know, whatever it is worth,

What's lost is lost, we can't regain what went down in the flood,

But happiness to me is you and I love you more than blood.

It's never been my duty to remake the world at large,

Nor is it my intention to sound a battle charge,

'Cause I love you more than all of that with a love that doesn't bend,

And if there is eternity I'd love you there again.

It's easy to see that you were born to be here by my side

And I was born to be with you, you were born to be my bride,

You're the other half of what I am, you're the missing piece...

And I love you more than ever with that love that doesn't cease.

You turn the tide on me each day and teach my eyes to see,

Just bein' next to you is a natural thing for me

And I could never let you go, no matter what life brings on,

'Cause I love you more than ever now that the past is gone.

The Old Man

The tears have all been shed now

we´ve said our last goodbyes

His souls been blessed

He's laid to rest ... And it´s now I feel alone

He was more than just a father

A teacher my best friend

He can still be heard... In the tunes we shared

When we play them on our own

I never will forget him

For he made me "what I am"

Though he may be gone

Memories linger on

And I miss him, the old man

As a boy he'd take me walking

By mountain field and stream

And he showed me things

not known to kings

And secret between him and me

Like the colors of the pheasant

As he rises in the dawn

And teach how to fish and make a wish

Beside the Holly Tree

I thought he'd live forever

He seemed so big and strong

But the minutes fly...And the years roll by

For a father and a son

And suddenly when it happened

There was so much left unsaid

No second chance...To tell him thanks

For everything he's done

I never will forget him

For he made me "what I am"

Though he may be gone....Memories linger on

And I miss him... God I miss him...the old man.

What I have learned...

For Two People destined to be... Forgiveness changes us physically, emotionally and spiritually. It dissolves the weight of resentment and floods us with fresh new energy. It mends our tattered personal boundaries and empowers us to move forward with hope and inspiration in contrast to the traumatic experiences of holding a grudge. When we release this trauma, we rekindle a connection with our spiritual sense. That sense offers us new light and we find ourselves on new ground with another. When we're in great pain we're not very inclined to forgive, we just want to feel better. It’s kind of like having a toothache and recognizing the need for dental work. You don’t want to go to the dentist and feel more pain for an hour, so you stay in denial for a while. But the pain persists and you know that you’ll feel better if you do something about it. So you muster the discipline to make that appointment, go through the experience and get rid of the root problem. Perhaps, we find ourselves put off on the idea of the actual need to forgive, because THEN we have to actually do something about it! Forgiveness is hard...naturally we don’t know how because it's not part of the survival agenda that human beings instinctively possess. Perhaps we're afraid that if we forgive someone who has hurt us, we'll make ourselves too vulnerable and leave ourselves wide open for further hurt. Perhaps we can’t forgive because we feel that what was done is unjust, and we think that forgiveness implies that we condone injustice... (Good News - It doesn’t.) Perhaps, we find so much satisfaction in feeling " right" in our judgement of another, that we’d rather be right than be at peace. WHY WE FORGIVE THOSE WE LOVE ? At the end of the day, people are ready to forgive when they tire of the struggle and hurt within that weighs heavily on their heart and soul. It's at that very moment in time that we're in touch with our spirtual selves and when peace of mind and soul outweighs the need to be right. Peace and Love

FORGIVING IN STEPS

I love you and want to forgive you. I accept you as a human being with bad and good qualities just as you have accepted me as a human being with bad and good qualities From my heart to your mind and soul... I forgive you for what happened, intentional or not. My only wish is that you're happy, free of confusion and understand yourself and the world. Please forgive me for whatever I have done to you, intentional or unintentional. I am overjoyed and thankful that we can open our hearts and minds to meet in love and understanding. I feel the warmth of healing between us and I love you immeasurably for your honesty and openess.
