Life can be so unfair-
Especially when it comes to matters of the heart. As people, we try to make everyone happy sometimes forsaking our own happiness. We tend to care about others more than ourselves.
Love is not something to take lightly, nor is it something to take for granted, assuming that it will always be there. Love is a precious gift. There are many kinds of love. The love of a parent for their child, the love of a family member, the love of a friend. The love of a soulmate or a lover. You can love someone but not truly be in love with them. There is a difference. To love and be loved back are truly wonderful feelings when they are real and sincere. Not just mere words, but with every fiber of your being behind those words.
There is also a difference between love and lust. Lust can give you a false sense of all the emotions of love, because in that moment, you are all consumed by the passion and excitement of the moment. But then the fire dies and you realize that itwas just the physical nature of the moment, that you were caught up in. The need to feel wanted, and need in that way, like you've never felt before.
With love, you'd do anything to be with that person, and would do anything for that person. You'd lie as well as die for them. You'd trust them with your life. Life isn't worth living without them. To feel their touch, to look into their eyes, to hear their voice, to touch their lips. Just to be with them, & to be by their side knowing that they love you & they care, is enough. To have them hold you and tell you everything is alright and that they love you forever.
Everyone should experience a love so real. Some of us do, some of us have, some of us will. Whichever one you are: Don't Give Up On Love-It really is worth it, in the end.
