ok so the reason i wasnt here yesterday was cuz of Open Mic Night at my school that the Writing Center runs. i'm in the Writing Center and we tutor ppl who need help with their writing. wheeee.
so our theme last night was Wizard of Oz, but it really should've been st. partick's day. honestly, the only thing that was missing was beer. everything was green, yellow and rainbow, no joke. my friend rachel had seperated skittles and m&m's BY COLOR and put them into seperate bags. i had made cupcakes and put green (i had to dye it myself) frosting with rainbow sprinkles on it. i'm sure they were gone by the 1st intermission.
i got to sit next to mott tho. lol mott's fuckin AWSOME! we were chattin today before i had to go set up for the OMN and then i sat next to him during the entire thing. his ex was sitting behind us tho...i think she's incredibly annoying (she hangs out wit one of my friends and tries to constantly sing disney songs...even i'm not that kiddish). but yea, and then i was helping to take down everything and pull up everything from the floor (we had taped down yellow paper cut like bricks). i had to grab the dishes i had used to carry all 47 cupcakes and then runs backstage, steal some leftover pizza (the writing center proctors had ordered 11 boxes of pizza), grab my backpack and go because the theater company was kicking us out.
as i had been walkin around out in the lobby and i would look at mott and he'd be watchin me but talkin wit his friends...i guess it's cuz we'r friends...but then i was running around to get some water and then getting my stuff and moving it outside into the lobby and his eyes were still on me. then gil announced that us writing center people were gettin kicked out so we could go home and i go and grab my stuff. to do that i had to get around mott and his friends and then walk past them again to get outside.
i had just walked out of the door and i still felt someone's eyes on me. i looked and there was mott, he waved and i waved. i motioned if he was going the way i was walking. he poked his head out and asked wat i meant. "are you going to the parking lot?" i asked. "eventually" he replied. "ok, see ya later" i said smiling and he smiled back and went back to his friends. i'm so confused...
besides that, my day was good. i skipped lunch again and we didnt get food until it was like 6:30-ish or 7-ish. by then we had nothing to do and were sitting around. i got to call my friend kevin and we chatted. we havent talked in ages so it was a really good convo and he had another call come in and asked me to hold. i got bored of holding so i hung up, knowing he would call back. while i was waiting, the pizza guy came with a HUGE bag of pizzas. if santa was a skinny dude wit glasses and a pizza car, i would've honestly thought santa had come in november. i scarffed (cuz i was HUNGRY) 5 pieces of pizza and 2 or 3 cups of coke. lemme tell you how SICK i felt lol.
but yea, that was my night ^_^
