kicked out of church

I recently went to a church with a friend on a sunday morning. I've attended the church before and in fact used to attend the church when I was a wee little girl. However on this past sunday I happened to be wearing my pentacle necklace and when we were all meeting one another, shaking hands my necklace somehow loosned itself out from below my shirt and was seen by the priest. He asked me to step aside and I figured that perhaps he was going to see if I was to join the church again and instead he pointed at my neck which confused me. I hadnt realized my necklace was showing and then he showed me to the door saying that the devils work was not allowed in his church of God. My friend came outside when the priest told her I wasn't allowed back in and sat outside with me until 12 noon when the church was released. Never before have I been kicked out of a church and told not to come back in, and i find it utterly ignorant. First of all my necklace was a pentacle and not a pentagram. I am wiccan not satanist. I do not practice black magic and I'm well known around the churches as a good volunteer in the community. I often work the concession stand at church softball games and shall continue to do so. One priest will not stop me from being with my friends and in fact I may not be a christian but I act, present myself, and behave in a much more appropraite way than most christians that attend the church. Im more involved in the activities and I've grown up in the bible belt my entire life. Living in the bible belt has taught me that we're all different, I've been to snake handlers, catholic, devout, seven day avenglistic, methodist, luthern and to prominately black churches with friends. No one has ever spoken to me about not being a christian when i quietly sit back and dont partake in all of the activities. So I see no reason to be treated as such an outsider. We're all human and we choose to live by our own choices. The priest I happened to be dealing with was a young man, perhaps fresh from college it seemed or not even a full priest. His ignorance is exactly why this world is coming downhill.
