Hey all. Been a while. Been all over the place and tried a whole bunch of different songs. Tonight, I tried something totally different. I sang Tone Loc's Wild Thing (repeat) I sang Jim Carey's Cuban Pete from the Mask I sang a duet of Eve 6 Insdie Out (repeat) I sang George Michael's Faith I sang a duet doing Gorillaz Clint Eastwood I sang Metallica's Whiskey In the Jar I sang Nickleback's Figured You Out It was a night of mostly songs I've never done before, and for the most part, I feel good about the songs. Especially Gorillaz. I ain't happy I'm feeling sad I got sunshine in a bag I'm useless But not for long The future is coming on.

OK, I decided to try some new stuff. I sang "Cat's In the Cradle". Probably should have waited for the last of the Asian Panda Death Flu to be out of my system. Still, not too shabby. Followed with "Funky Cold Medina" to get the silly song out of the way. Always a good choice. Followed that with "Zoot Suit Riot". That went over well. Needs a little work. Followed that with "Rebel Yell". Needs some work as well. Closed my personal set with "Maria, Maria" by Santana. Broke into a sweat in the middle of the song. It's too high pitched for me. Learned my lesson.

Hey ... if you're in the Warminster / Warrington / Hatboro PA area ... come to the Red Stallion 307 W County Line Rd, Hatboro, PA for Kareoke. Julie is in town .. as is Splissa (both on my family list). Come sing .. hear Griz make a fool of himself, have a few drinks and have some fun. Kareoke runs from 1000pm-130amish on Sundays.

Hey. Here's the latest update: Last night I sang a few songs that I've never sang before. First, I sang George Thorogood's "I Drink Alone". Then, I sang Meatloaf's "Paradise by the Dashboard Lights" with (Splissa, my little sister, she's in my family here on CT). Then I sang Sir Mix-A-Lot's "Baby Got Back". I felt good about all three.

The main purpose of this is to let me know what I sang .. and how I think it went ... and what I need to work in ... For starters .. here are the songs I've sung since I started going: Vanilla Ice - Ice Ice Baby Kid Rock/Sheryl Crow - Picture (with Shawna and Jenn seperately) Metallica - Turn the Page Tone Loc - Wild Thing Don McLean - American Pie Black Sabbath - War Pigs (didn't go over as well as I hoped) Bruce Springsteen - Glory Days Poison - Every Rose Has It's Thorn David Allen Coe - You never even called me by my name **THANKS JULIE** Eagle's - Desperado Eagle's - Take It Easy I'm missing a couple ... and I'll post last nights in another entry

Last night, Dave woke me up while he was on the way to my house. He and Jamie picked me up to go to Kareoke. I sang .. in order ... Poison's "Something to Believe in" because I always like to start with serious song. Tone Loc's "Funky Cold Medina" because I wanted something silly. Uncle Kracker's "Follow Me" because I'd been dying to try it. The girls who sit in the front row were dancing when I sang it. That made me feel pretty good. Van Halen's "Running With the Devil" which is a really hard song. Aerosmith's "I Don't Want To Miss A Thing". That is a song for Julie. WOW .. that's the hardest song I've ever done.
