but better seen when awake!
I got off work early this past morning and called my daughter. What time did she need me to help her watch the baby? Now? Oh dear.... I was exhausted and pushed my self past my home to take a nap to her home. On the way, I all the sudden saw a water distribution truck to my left at the sounds of some whisp, whisp... then I suddenly realized that I was on the right lane of the two south bound lanes. Omg..... the lane I was supposed to be in, was to my right. I am just real fortunate that no harm came to myself or anyone else. When I got to my daughters' home I slept for a good 2 to 2-1/2 hours before I was able to babysit the grandbaby. I didn't explain to my daughter the events that happened earlier this morning, but explained to her that it would probably be best that, if she were to need me to babysit, babysitting wouldn't be required until after I get some sleep in the morning.
Aside from that scare, the rest of the day went really well --
* my daughter reported that she passed one of the exams she had to take as a pre-requisite to the nursing school,
*my granddaughter was having her first two bottom teeth (well first teeth ever) to finally pop through,
*I found some courses to register for for fun at the local college (well to some people some may not be fun, like the web coding online class),
*finished my first mosaic project from my mosaic class (picture of it soon to be posted, but promise to not laugh),
*worked on a home mosaic project,
*got my own desk here at work finally (no longer having to share a desk has its advantages... such as everything be set to the accordance of a right-handed person),
and,
*so much more.
The downside was disovering that when my Mom and Dad came to my granddaughter's first birthday party, she had had a seizure before arriving later that day. I am not sure why they came knowing that my Mom had had a seizure; perhaps, my father was wanting to encourage my Mom to do something outside of sticking to the home, I really don't know. We were glad to see them, of course, but we would have certainly understood if they hadn't come up to Austin for the party.
Enjoying the life of being an owner of a lounge these days -- the
Texas Music Mania lounge (y'all click on the link and join us!). It is growing bit by bit and I am proud of that work as well.
Having now being the benefactor of some insurance finally, I have started setting up appointments to get healthier and see to some things that I have endured since an auto accident four years ago because I had no insurance to cover for medical treatments. I will be busy in the next few weeks getting that all into place and moving forward to a much more healthier me.
Hmmmm.....
What more can I say? It has been for-ever since I have written in my blog here on Fubar. I hope that everone is doing okay. Would love for folks to drop me a line from time to time as well....
More laters...
Have a safe and happy weekend!!!
