What are you waiting for?

" I am wonderfull. And those who aren't like me, must feel worthless because they aren't like me. Then they do things becausethey are forced to, due to their worthlessness. They do it to escape from their feelings of worthlessness that they get from not being just like me. I feel so sorry for these people. " I think that is the monolauge that goes on inside some people's heads sometimes. How could anyone possibly want to be anything different than the awesome thing that you are? LOL So then we started blaming people's problems on self-esteme. " Because of course they have low selfestem if they aren't like me, how could they have anything else. " It's the narcissists way of lashing out at those who threaten their own selfestemes. The skewed view of this. The people who wear suits, and work in offices are only doing it because they don't have the balls to do anything different. They are scared of what other people might think of them if their hair was different, or they wore different clothes. I feel so sorry for those people who lack the courage to be who they really are, and the best they could possibly be. ( Wich is obviously just like me. The awesome thing that I am. ) The people who wear their suits do it because they are striving for acceptance, they do it only to fit into that group, it's only something they do so they can feel good about themselves. It's so sad that they have fallen to that level in slef worth that they would stoop to doing those things, and wearing those clothes, and having their hair cut like that, lacking any pretty colors. Who would ever do anything like that who felt they were worth anything? The Other side- Those people with colored hair, and/or piercings, that do socially unnaceptable jobs, must do it because of their low self-esteme. They couldn't possobly have any, because they aren't just like me. So they must be worthless. They only do these things to try to feel good about themselve and try to fit in. They only do theese things because they have to. Their self-esteme keeps them from doing anything else. Surely no one with any respect for themselves, wouldn't be able to do those things. Surely on one with any self-respect would be any different than me. I feel so bad for those people who aren't just like me, and especially bad for those people who are completely different, they must feel worthless, their actions and they way they dress are proof of it. As awesome or allmight as person in either group is, it doesn't mean that people who aren't like them aren't as equally awesome. Their may be people in each group that are their due to their low self-esteme, but that doesn't mean all the popel in either group are there because of that reason. As hard as it may be for me to accept, I realize that there are people who actually like haveing their hair brown, and short. And there are people who don't do it out of fear of rejextion, they just do it because they like it. It has nothing to do with those people's self-estemes. The same with the clothes they wear, tgere are people who wear suits and other conservitive clothing who aren't spineless, they just happen to like those clothes. They happen to like their jobs, and job settings and such. They aren't there only out of the fear of lack of acceptance. That probably never even crossed many of their minds. If you are in that group, realize that it's the same for other groups. People aren't there simply because of their self-esteme, or need to feel accepted by a group. Sometimes people do the things they do because that's just what they like, and want to do. It's sad people feel so threatened by other people feeling good about themselves. Just because one type of person is " cool " or a good person or whatever, doesn't mean that other people aren't too. Everyonw has their own place, and path in life, and most of those aren't higher or lower than the others. There is no one perfect way to be. Everyone has their own qualities, and characteristics. Some people are good at somethings, and others are good at others. People have varying senses of humors, and preferences. And everyone has their faults and shortcomings. If someone only wears a suit because they have to to feel good about themselves, then that is sad. I feel sorry for those people. If someone has their hair short, or long, or colored, or not colored, because of their lack of self-esteme, or fear, then yah, that's sad. If someone has their job, because of their fear, or because it's dictated by their self-esteme, then that's sad. But if they do what theyd do out of choice, knowing the other options available, and being able to do those if they want, then it's not sad. It's happy when popele do what they do because that's what they want to do. It's no sadder that someone is a stripper, than if someone has an office job, if that is what they want to do. And it's just as sad if they are there due to their fear, or lack of self-esteme. Yes, it's just as sad that there are people who wear suits because of their lack of self-estem, as it is that people are strippers, or whatever because of their lack of self-esteme. I would so be a stripper if I could...:-(
