Here We Are
We're here all together once again you see.
All the fussing, just like it used to be.
Nothing has changed over the years,
A little bit older, and a lot more tears.
Wishing now we could just get along,
Make each other feel like each other belonged.
Appreciate what you have.
God gave us to each other.
Not for each to be sad,
And not for each to bother.
Just for us to get along,
And be there when were needed.
That is what family's for,
When trust and respect is heeded
Nothing else is needed.
