I bought my first real corset Sunday night. I managed to find one for less than $200.00. I'm so proud of myself. To bad this blog doesn't allow images, that I can tell, or I'd put a picture of it up. Guess I'll just have to wait until I get it and take pictures then. It's for my pirate costume. I have a pirate party on October 20th I am so stoked about. Texas Renfest should be the shit this year. Lets see, the costume will consist of the corset - black satin w/ steel boning - and the lace up sleeves to match, black lace up pants, thigh high boots (without heels because I'm not that much of a masochist), a green sash, leather belt, dagger, and bullwhip. There may or may not be a hat - musketeer style with green plumes - but I will have my cloak with me in case it is cold. Ok, back to work, if you can call it that. Ugghh.
