uh, went to drill today. It's kinda stupid. I don't think I'll be in the reserves very long. One good thing about being in the army before was it had a feeling of being meaningfull. This doesn't have that same feeling. I thought I'd be doing my job on the weekends. They don't even have the equipment I was trained on. No one seems to know what my job actually really is. I'm just the commo guy.
I was told to show up at 7 am in civilian clothes, or acu's. I don't have acu's so I showed up in civilian clothes. They didn't hassle me though, so that's good. I wore my hat most of the day, but at the end someone said I should take it off indoors even though it was a civilain hat. I think the guy's kind of a jackass, but whatever. It wasn't worth argueing over on my first day there. The whole thing isn't looking good. Later the commander walked by and looked at my hair, seeing it for the first time. She got a weird look on her face, but didn't say anything.
There's a general going to be around tomarrow, so everyone is paranoid. They want everyone to put their best chapstick on...... They don't want people's lips to go dry while sucking his dick. lol. If I was a general, I'd be outraged at the things that go on, and that people think I'm a superficial-ficial predjudice piece of shit. But hey, those are positive characteristics in some people's eyes I guess. And those people wouldn't want the anyone to think we didn't share those characteristics with the majority. Not being like the majority, just isn't cool or whatever.
It's been a long day. I about fell asleep coming back from saltlake, so I stopped at my mom's house. My parents weren't there cuz they went to see my gramma in idaho, and went to pocatello. I fell asleep on the couch. My sinuses are fucked up now, since I'm allergic to dogs and cats. Dogs and cats weren't inside while I was there, and the house isn't really dirty or anything, but their dander ( whatevever that is ) or hair or whatever Is still in the house, and on the couch. and I'm way allergic to them. Eventually I woke up, and went back to my place. I got all my army stuff together,and washed it, now I just need to dry it, and go to sleep. Tomarrow should be interesting. People don't seem to know their regulations all that well, and are paranoid creatures. Fun, fun...
