I woke up this morning, the sun filtering through the blinds, the birds singing outside, in harmony to the chirping insects. I collected myself, rolled here and there, thinking about you, wishing you was here.
I stood, stretched, took a deep breath, refreshing uplifting breath. I pictured you, sitting there, eagerly wanting to spend your day with just me. I strode out of the room, and walked onto my front porch, so I could take in the beauty all around me, in its most heavenly glory.
Butterflies flickering from flower to flower, hummingbirds feeding from some nectar, bees and bugs meandering around here and there, you smiled at me, bathed in its awe. The fog was sitting on top of the lake, so that it looked like we were up above the clouds themselves, we were in our own little heaven.
I took you up, and held you close, kissing you softly on your neck than lips. I smiled at you, caressed your hair, kissed you again, as if the beauty expected it of me. Our hearts pounded as one, our desires and wants became the same steady beat, for we had found what both had wanted for so long, we had found love.
