The autistic, not the political, kind...
Executive functioning has to do with planning, goal-setting, inhibition, stuff - like that, as seen by cognitive psych :) People on the autism spectrum and elsewhere can have issues with this (many. Enough to be serialized on a regular basis and sold at newsstands.)
So. Tonight I wake up hungry on the couch (couch? not in bed? erm.. wait.) and decide my shelves are barer than they ought be, so head over to Tops to do some 2am shopping. Now at 11pm or so I took sleep-related meds. One of them decreases my motor control. I've had some troubles walking around in a straight line within hours after taking that med before (drunk? no, offiver, I'm on zonivamive...)
Nothing bad happened, in fact the outing went remarkably well (except for my on ce again moving my sleep schedule forward- I am now going to sleep until 10am or so I think), but .. erf?really.
