Ok your on Fubar but your on dial up. Welcome to severe agitation. The first online bar, it's way cool, but it's all image files. If you want to check your mail from that pimpin hottie you talk to last night, you have to wait for the onslaught of profiles to load to scroll across the top your screen. Then you have to wait and wait for the mail interface to load.
Not to bad, takes sometime but do able. Then hottie says why didnt you rate my album! You Asshole! And you go to their album, eager to keep Hottie in loves grasp. You load the first picture and notice to your dismay that 343 comments have to load before you can load the picture much less rate it. Welcome to Dial up hell and the all in one ending factor to many could be flirtatious moments.
I've looked around to find a solution and High speed is it. But if your 400 feet from the phone guys line of high speed admittance or just on dial up for whatever reason I think I've found a few things to help.
First is Mozilla Firefox. The jewel of a browser has tabbed browsing. Not good for ADHD people because you'll have 30 tabs opened at once and finally freak out but none the less let me explain what a tab is. Tab is a sheet. Each sheet "no not that type of sheet" is a page. Each webpage is inside the same Window but is seperated by a hunky dory tab instead of 6 Internet Explorer windows opened at once. Handy. Ok. now
Firefox has Add - Ons. I have Adblock for one. I havent seen an advertisement on a page in over a month.
Also for use on FUBAR is a addon called ImglikeOpera. Apparently Opera browser can block images but we're talking about Firefox because it's Firefox. It's just better. No that's not an opinion, it's a fact. Ok maybe it's opinion. Get OvER it. BuT GEt Imglikeopera because you can turn off images at your whim. What? ok if you have no images loading you can FLY soar Shoot through webpages on Fubar. RAte people fast and if you want to see the image just right click and press the "A" button your keyboard. You can turn it off when you want to see people scroll around.
Now if your not convinced yet. Your never gonna be. Don't be. Be unconvinced but download firefox and the add-on and try it for yourself.
