I have this vision,
Of a White Dove flying.
She looks so carefree and happy,
Soaring through a beautiful blue sky.
Twice now she has flown into my arms,
Only to soar away again.
I am envious of those who may have her fly to them,
For I am so far away to be there when she needs me.
I hope they know what a treasure she is,
To treat her with the love and respect that I have shown her.
The great love that is in her heart,
Shines brightly through her loving eyes.
Eyes that have seen so much pain,
They have shined brilliantly as she has lain in my arms.
I have seen the love deep within her soul,
It is a wonder to behold.
I have heard her pain when she has been hurt deeply,
Heart torn apart by the distance that separates us.
Those are the times she needs my arms around her,
Though all I am able to do is sit here and express my love.
To all that have been blessed to know her,
This world would not be the same with out this White Dove that I love.
