| "Kongy's path to green"

Many, new and old, members of Fubar can contest that this, newly popular site, is addicting. I am a member myself and can definitely agree with that. The friends, the fans, the rates, pull the curious eyes of internet users into the large world of sexy, fun adults. How can those eyes be kept to stay you ask? By creating and becoming the human obsession of reaching the apex.
Baby J created a website that captured the human emotion of reaching manifest destiny by giving the users a level. This level would increase as long as you visited the site more often, networked, and participated in all its activities. It’s not just a site that helped you meet people, it’s a site that entertained you as well.
Users dug to find out HOW they could become one of the sites top members. Many believed that becoming a bouncer or supporter would help push them to the top of popularity. That’s what member Kongy was hoping for.
Kongy started her free Fubar membership on May 20th 2006. She worked hard getting her status to a remarkable level 10. Soon after that she began to visit the support lounge becoming a frequent member and earning the respect of the Fubar staff, landing her a nomination for Fubar support. Kongy eventually won the nomination and became on of Fubars few supporters. A short while after that Baby J made the decision to make all supporters into bouncers. The newly titled bouncers continued there work marking NSFW photos, approving salutes, and helping the staff with technical support. For 9 months, bouncer Kongy was working with the staff and earning her free Fubar VIC. Unfortunately, her real life was starting to catch up with her, causing her to become absent more and more on the site. Knowing her absence and keeping a free VIC was not fair to the other bouncers, Kongy decided to resign. Scrapper, one of Fubars staff members, kept Kongy around for a month or two after her resignation to see if she had decided to retire her absence. Her outside life away from Fubar was still taking her time away so scrapper finally decided to make her a regular member.
As a regular member, Kongy had enough points to make her a level 21 after being a bouncer. Although being a bouncer helped a little in the advertising of her page because of her user name color, Kongy still had to earn what she had. Nobody can become this level without putting in hard time on the site. This level 21 was well earned and got her in the top 100 list of Fubar.
Baby J soon decided that all ex bouncers were NOT aloud to hold rank in Fubars top 100. Feeling he inconvenienced the ex-bouncers, Baby J gave them all compensation by making them a level 100 “supporter” of Fubar. Ultimately, this took all the ex-bouncers off the map. “At first we thought it was unfair....” said Kongy. They believed that they busted there behinds to get that rank and now Baby J took it away. Now nobody would be able to see them on top ranks, causing them to lose the daily hits and rates on there pages. They were regular members now and so they deserve the same privileges.
“Well now…..I’m okay with it” stated Kongy. Although she was pulled off the top one hundred, Kongy says “I like being green. I am 1 of 3 people on the site that’s green.” These three “green” users only wish to have a link to there profile to compensate for the lost privilege of a front page portal to there homepage.
Many users argue that the level 100 and color green is enough to attract people to there page, but many also say they earned that right and should also keep all regular user privileges as well. I guess its just one of those differences of opinions situations. All I can suggest is, if you wish to be one of Fubars top 100, stay away from the bouncer path.
