Be it not
That you believe me
Heartless
Be it not
That you believe me cruel
But perhaps u would see
That I am scared
Friendship is the key
But where upon
You may find the door to fit
I knowest not
But pray of thee
To look no further
You would have me
Tell reveal unto thee
My hearts deepest promises
Mine only secret
And to do so
Would be mine
Greatest injustice
For such secrets
Are the mark of death
And to die now
Would doest the most harm
And no good at all
You would have it known
Exactly how I feel
When such information
Is still so very clouded
So very knew
Though remembered still
Within mine mind
The love
The loves death
The love
The love lost...
Why upon that stage would thine eye
See me once more
Playing the fool
For a world
I would much rather hide from
Why within that theatre
Would you have me play the role
Of your leading man
If this leading man
Merely wants to never feel
The pain felt before
Not unto you
Could I give
Such a dishonour
And such would only be
If I gave you the answers you seek
You would have me
Say unto thee
What of you
I desire
What of you
I wish
Could I let it all be known
And lay my hope
Of not repeating my past
Or will mine past
Consume and devour
All I have ever loved
And so unto this page
I lay these words
To hold and keep
This promise held captive
Deep within mine heart
This vow
Never uttered unto air
This…
Angelique secret
