I read a lot of articles. The subject matter varies but my favorite ones are relationship articles. Some of the advice I automatically toss off as nonsense, sometimes I take it to heart and sometimes I just don't know. Here are some I just don't know about let me know your opinion.
1. Buy a guy in a bar a drink.
this seems like it would be weird. A lot of times it's weird when guys do it.
2. Recruit your friends to set you up.
has this ever worked for anyone? Maybe my friends are just assholes. Seriously, a couple of years ago one tried to set me up with a friend. When I asked her if she was talking about the one with the prescription pill addiction she said yes. ugg
3. If he texts you more than he calls you, he's not that in to you.
I am not a texting fan but is there a communication hierarchy?
4. Meet guys shopping.
Most guys I know hate shopping. They get in, get what they want and get the fuck out. And don't you dare tell me book store. I have never seen ANYONE spark up a conversation at a bookstore with a stranger. EVER!
5. Guys like it when the girl pays.
Call me old fashoined but if I am paying then I am in control of the relationship. Do you really think that's a good idea? Better let me just cook for you once in a while instead.
6.Guys love it when you are touchy feely all the time.
Really? You want me playing with your hair and stuff while you are trying to watch that sci-fi movie? Or playing your video game?
7. "I'm looking for someone I can hang out and have fun with" is secret code for "I want a hookup buddy, not a commitment."
I always thought this meant I want to be friends first. But what the fuck do I know i spend my lonely nights reading relationship articles.
P.S. what is your favorite true dating advice or false dating advice? I know you got some.
