UPDATE: I've been a bit under the weather, literally for those who know me well. I am trying a new suppliment too which does seem to help with pain but makes me quite a bit groggy. I'm just starting to get used to it. I may be scarce yet. Technically with all the meds and supps I take I should be comatose LOL

I'm just here because my daughter "satanatemyshoes" aka "dragonfly" invited me. I live vicariously through my daughter and she's giving me a great life so far ! Really though, she's amazing and I am so very proud of her.
Me, I'm just a quiet recluse. I paint and play with clay. I'm kind of a geek, big sci-fi fan. Doing the second childhood thing. Got a remote control submarine today...can't wait to try it out ! I farm Irises. No work, good pay. Occasionally I translate ancient documents for a laugh. I'm a pocket volcanologist. I have MS/Fibro. Certified insane.

Yes, you saw that right, bow hunting. I can also gut,clean, process, and use every part of any animal to make something. I am not a vegetarian LOL I know, technically this goes against my geek status but I've always been somewhat of a paradox on my best days and an oxymoron at my worst.

UPDATE : Fuck myspace. They removed my music player and said it was file sharing. How is it file sharing when the songs can't be copied and transferred to another individual ? Plus, myspace lied. Playlist does pay for rights to use the music. I can't even burn them. I'm waiting for the day when it gets so ridiculous, music police are tapping my stereo so I can't make a duplicate casette tape for my car because one of my friends might be riding with me and hear the music without paying. Remember when bands WANTED as many people as possible to hear their music ? If a file can't be copied or transferred or uploaded... IT ISN'T FILE SHARING ! GET A GRIP ! BY PEOPLE HEARING YOUR MUSIC ON MY WIDGET...YOU MIGHT GET MORE SALES ! iT'S FREE FUCKING ADVERTISING ! **************
This is a mix of songs that I'ved liked over the years from my birth until now. There are some even older tunes in here and I added these because I remember my father playing playing them and have grown to appreciate that genre of music as well. I did'nt quite make the "until now" part yet. I zonked out last night doing the playlist, but will add more to represent the last 5 years as soon as I get around to it. If you're middle aged like me and can't find a lounge you like, just hang on page and enjoy. I'm hoping, once I get all my tunes transferred to the new comp, to start my own lounge.
I tend to like music that is complex. I like lyrics that really say something. Occasionally I go for the simple stuff. I do have an Elliott Smith fettish because I think he's one of the best lyricists that ever lived.
I've become a spore addict. I've never been able to play any in depth games because of the fast keyboard commands. My fingers don't always do what my brain would like...but when Spore came out and it's all mouse control..I'm in heaven. It's a good distraction from pain.
