I’m sorry it took so long
To find your resting place
We’ve swam through sorrow
Filled with anger and disgrace
Sad times and mad times
With oh so many tears
We’ve taken off our goggles
Been stripped of life’s veneers
I’m writing you this poem
With hope in my heart
That you’ll try and forgive us
For stalling from your depart
You see it’s all so very new
No matter what the calendar reads
And I want you to know
Why I feel it’s my place
To bless this site magical
