White Angel Food Cake
1 1/2 cup egg whites
1 1/2 cup sugar
1 tablespoon cold water
1 cup cake flour
2 tablespoons cornstarch
1 teaspoon cream of tartar
1/3 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon pineapple extract
1/2 teaspoon almond extract
Beat egg whites until they stand in peaks, add sugar gradually while still beating. Add coold water and extracts. Combine the flour, cream of tartar, salt and cornstarch and add this mixture, folding it in gradually. Bake 45 minutes at 300 degrees. Ice with your favorite icing.
