Broke her spirit...
Stopped challenging her....
Calls got shorter...texts not answered...
Shot down her ideas...
Brushed her off...
Noticed another...
No longer called her your good girl...
Stopped playing with her....
Stopped tucking her in at night....
Lost her respect...
Broke her heart....
No longer motivated her...
Didn't challenge her....
Weren't there when she needed you...
Watched her crumble and did nothing....
Chose not to pick her up....
Stopped fighting...
Threw away her gift of submission...
Took advantage of her devotion....
Broke your promises....
Failed her....
Told her she would never find another....
Thought she would never leave.....
Were dead wrong......she's gone.....
Can't call her YOURS anymore.

You promised to take care of her, protect her, guide her, maybe even love her....but you didn't anymore. It's easy to get caught up in the excitement of it all....but it takes time, effort, discipline and commitment to take care of another. If you don't want to lose your most prized possession you better get your shit together and fight.....fight like she fought for you. And maybe she'll come back....or maybe she will feel it's just not worth the fight anymore and walk away.
This could just as easily go her/him.
