Small Town Sleeper's blog: "Small Town Sleeper...New album Updates!!!"

Hey Gang, So some new news regarding the album release. While the album still won't hit stores or radio until this winter...due to the success of the DAUGHTRY dates, the label has decided to do a pre-release of the record on ITUNES as well as print a limited number of Discs to be sold at shows and on-line. As of now ITUNES is the only place to get it, but I will let everyone know when you can pick it up on-line. As far as shows, we should have them by the Michigan!!! A fortunate turn of events has blessed us with a quick 9 date national tour with possibly more dates coming soon. Hey Gang, Just got the video blog up from our show with DUAGHTRY. Kinda long, but thought you may enjoy some behind the scenes stuff...also, all the music is from the new album due out this winter... I regret to announce that Small Town Sleeper will not be playing The July 6th First Friday Event in Downtown Urbana. Before I go into detail, I would like to encourage everyone to still attend the event as “Hollow Point” and Urbana’s very own “Moore” will still be playing. I can honestly say that the entire STS crew was looking forward to this fantastic hometown event. We are currently in the process of setting up a make-up date, although no details are available yet…it is in the works!!! We want to thank Joe, Real Estate II, and everybody involved with First Friday’s for going above and beyond for us…we promise to make it up to all of you! With that said, STS will not be playing First Friday because we have been asked to be the support for DAUGHTRY (a.k.a American Idol Chris Daughtry) at this years 2007 SummerFest in Milwaukee Wisconsin. This is the world’s largest music festival, and we will be playing the main stage at the 23,000 capacity Marcus Amphitheater. We will be the main support playing an hour set right before DAUGHTRY. Again, this is a huge honor for us, and we appreciate your support and understanding about the First Friday show… Before we get a ton of mail, yes we know it is not listed on DAUGHTRY’s tour schedule, but trust us, he will be there as it is listed on summerfest.com. Also, we are not listed as the opener…yet. This is all brand new news (as of today actually), but we received the contract and details are being finalized as I type… Give it a few days for all the details to go live throughout all the media outlets… Thanks in advance for your understanding!
