Sorry everyone, I know this is a downer, and some of you are probly wondering, "why post a bulletin about it?" I don't know. I am SO sad. I love my Gramma so much! I haven't known her all my life b/c of growing up in Africa, but I did get to know her after we moved back to the states, and I've always enjoyed her in my life. I moved to Arizona a few years ago and lived with her at first. It was great. I really was glad to have the time to spend with her and would tell my mom (her daughter) and my siblings that they should spend some time getting to know her because we never know when we won't be able to anymore. My on again off again boyfriend of four years has been in Lancaster, Ohio and Ive been in Akron for the past 10 months. My baby (Cystic Fibrosis SUX@ LostCherry) has been sick for the last 4 weeks he was on IV antibiotics here at home for 3 of those, well he wasnt and hasent gotten any better. The past couple of days has been really hard on him and he has been having lots of trouble breathing and has started coughing up blood, which he hasent done in the 5 years that we have been together. Well needless to say I took him to the emergency room and they admitted him today. Visit To The Taj Mahal And The Agra Fortress
Quite an interesting day (no business involved, maybe that's why, lol). Went to the Taj Mahal (with a guide, it's a must, otherwise you miss the whole story). The Taj Mahal is a monument erected by Shah Jahan (5th generation mogul) for his 3rd wife (the first 2 not being able to bear him children) after she deceased at 39 yrs of age. It took 20 thousand people (imported from Persia) 22 years to build it !!! All the decorations are in (semi)-precious stones, it is a*m*a*z*i*n*g, not by accident one of the 7 world wonders. I'll see if and when I can post pics of it (I'll delete some other ones). The monument is in white marble, hauled in from 400kms far away (building took place between 1631 and 1653). The white marble has the special feature that it is translucent, i.e. if you light a torch behind it, you see it glowing at the other side (I have a pic of that, amazing!). I had only started working there a couple weeks before but already I had made many friends in the office. I even got an invitation to attend a party this weekend at a coworkers place. Fallen Comrade
One of the worse tasks was patrolling the borders between Northern & Southern Ireland. Since the beginnings of the troubles a lot of minor roads running between the north and south were closed by blowing craters in the road, this was to reduce the flow of traffic coming into the north. Anybody coming in from the South, then had to enter via a control point where their vehicles could be searched if they were suspect. The IRA used to go out on a night time using diggers and refill the holes if they need to get supplies into the south. I went to a "Big Girls" dance in Waltham, MA (thanks, Lisa!) and had the time of my life drowning my sorrows in Toasted Almonds and Sam Adams. Met up with a LC user who made the trip worthwhile... Remembering Any Loss, Not Just Children...
I myself am displaying the candle for anyone who has suffered a loss in their lives. Rather it be a mother, father, sister, brother, son, daugher, husband, wife etc. Each loss is tragic to the person who goes through it. I myself lost my son at the age of 17 to cancer. Ryan was a vibrant young man, so full of life, joy, happiness, sense of humor... so much to live for, yet sadly taken from this earth too early. My Nephew
I love him dearly I do I do but dang it he's being a snot today. I think he woke up on the wrong side of the bed or something. You know that age where they don't want to share or play nice? A Halloween Story
I've been growing a beard for some time now, I was going to shave it earlier this month but I thought: "It's October, I'll keep it for my costume." I'm going as Jack of "The pirates of the Caribbean" fame. What Should I Do?
I'm so happy. I finally got a job! I'm gonna start tomorrow, working 8-4:30, for $8.50 an hour doing clerical work. I went to an employment agency and they found me a job within like 10 mins of me leaving and doing a typing test. Yay! I'm so excited. BUT the downside is....i had applied for this other job, as a mental heath worker at a children center with children with different mental problems, and they called me wanting me to come in and interview...They wanted me to come in at 2:15 on Thursday but I have to work at the clerical job. This is the type of job i would REALLY love to do. But I've been out of work since May and I'm desperate. So they said I could call in and set up a time after I knew when I could come in. just heard that i don't get back to kolkata, and then fly back to europe, but have a slight change because someone somewhere managed to get a meeting organised in Malaysia (Klang). So tihs means i have to fly first to Chennai, then Chennai-Singapore. Why do people visit a profile and never say a word? I know I do it, and its because i am usually told to go and see what a friend has said on someones profile, otherwise i'll either say hello or not visit at all. The other reasons i can think of are spying for a friend and trying to find out what 2 people are saying to each other or try and get you to visit their profile and rate them a 10. Well the last one is a bit obvious and sad in my opinion. Just come out with it and ask if thats what you want. Spying on the other hand means you don't trust your friends. Surgery
Well my sister is currently in surgery. They are working on removing her tumor, they said it's bonine when they filled out the paper work. So it's going to be about four to six hours before this is all done. We are sitting in the hotel room waiting for abit instead of staying at the hospital. We've been there sense 0800 and left about 1100. She did pass out once but that wasn't do to the surgery, I think it was the no eating part. More updates to come. Love Stace

+ We got there hella late(Missed: The Smashup, Into Eternity, and Sanctity, boo!)...arrived during Arch Enemy's set..AE churns out wonderful music, IMO, but Angela's showmanship sucks..she wasn't entertaining really, none of them were..they seemed tired. Plz Help I Need Prayers For My Dog
My dog is a timber wolf and she needs all the prayers she can get, she has a disc in her spine messed up and now when she walks she can barely use her back legs. She is given up all hope and I dont want to dissapoint my step-kids by having to put her down because she has been in this family for 9 yrs. She is the most sweetest dog you could ever know, its more like she is ur daughter but she dont argue back. A Little Can Go A Long Way
Apparently I work next door to a shelter for the mentally disabled. At lunch time I usually go outside to the lunch cart and grab something real quick. An older mentally challenged gentleman was trying to buy lunch but from the sound of the coversation he didn't have enough money. The lady took his money and left it on the counter meanwwhile he's pointing to the menu trying to say "cheeseburger." So I pay for my lunch and get my change and without thinking put a couple dollars down on top of the man's money and told the lady he should have enough for his cheeseburger now. With that I left to go eat but it got me to thinking about how we should make an effort to help those that aren't as fortunate as ourselves. Yeah it was only a couple dollars to me, but it was lunch for that hungry man. Working in ny is giving me good opportunities to see things from a different perspective and I think I am becoming a more well rounded person because of it. I do hope you guys take a hard look
