Life And Death
going home from Eddie's in the city...... Following Phil so I don't lose myself... So tired....... yet, my eyes are adjusting to the sunrise...... blink of an eye, I hear the rough pavement on the tires of Heather.... I was falling asleep behind the wheel, almost going over to the right of the grass on the highway.... than, I realized that I could have been in a terrible car accident..... I have to say, I did shut my eyes once or twice on the way home, and it was very scary.... Wanting to speed to get home faster, but couldnt because I was on a ticket and saw a trooper once or twice.... I almost hit Kathy, Phil's car......changing lanes very non-chalant(sp).... making it look like I wanted to change lanes but really, I was falling sleep..... I got home safe at last where I was thankful for that rough pavement on the side of the road...... And now, Im alive...... right now, Im not the happiest person but Im here, not dead.

Happy Father's Day
I titled this post more so I can recall when I made it. I sent my Dad an email already. I'd send a card but there are no cards here in Dushanbe. Plus the mail takes five weeks to get out! This place is definitely NOT what we enjoy about the USA. Yes it is a different country and a different culture. Sure makes me glad to like in The United States, that's for sure. Internet here sucks. The speeds are 9.6k and if lucky I hit 80k. Yuck. But it is not bad considering they did not even have Internet here a year ago. Yes I have been away from this site, it is definitely bandwidth intensive. It takes forever for pictures to download! But I am almost 20% done with my tour in Tajikistan. So far it is nothing to write home about, but it is an experience I will look back on. It is another way to serve my country. God bless.

My Family Two Months Later
It was two months ago, April 19, 2007 that my two Grandsons were killed in Hazleton,PA in a fire. Omar was 7 and Elijah 3. I felt your prayers as my Daughter and her Husband fought for their lives. The Notebook
Wow, I just finished watching the movie, "The Notebook". That has got to be one of the best love story type movies I have ever watched. That movie sums up what I want to find, better than any amount of typing I could ever do. They had it all, love, passion, trust, communication, and it was unbreakable and never ending. It might be cheesy to alot of people, but that is the type of love that I hope someday to find. Through good and bad, they always had each other, even when they were apart, their hearts were not. Kindness
Sometimes I feel as if my hands are tied. Others emotional states effect me when they constantly lash out at me. My First Blog
Hi everyone this is my first blog ever so if you have any suggestions or comments feel free to reply. To start I'll tell you a little about myself. I am a 31 year old father of 2 great kids. My son is 7 and my daughter is 5 and will turn 65 on July 5th. I have been married to my beautiful wife for 8 years and I am still madly in love with her and always will be. The past couple days have been pretty stressfull considering I hate my job and my son was injured. He was playing around and cut his head open and had to get 6 staples. Results From Cancer Screening
ok the docs dont have the official results back but the un-official results are saying that its just mild dysplasia which is just abnormal cells in my cervix but they sent the samples up for more screening just to be sure and the doc says hopefully within 2 weeks the official results should b back but she thinks its fine and that i will b ok but due to teh face that cancer runs in my family they are keeping me on regular screening for every 6 months now instead of once every year! thank you all for keeping me in your thoughts and prayers!! I love you all!!!

Pondering
Sitting here pondering once again....I have been back in the states a little over a month now and have been working for the past two weeks. My whole goal was once I started working to put aside most of the money (besides basic living expenses) to go back to Germany at the end of August. Well although I got a job, and work 5 days a week, I am still hitting under 40 hours a week. I may be lucky to get 30. I am staying at my sisters temporarily and she is charging me 50 a week to rent the couch. I spoke to her trying to get her to drop it down because I am making minimum wage, I asked her to drop it to like $25 a week and I mow the lawn or do something else. 30 Year Old Grandpa.. How You Ask??
I've had a few people ask if I really am going to be a grandpa, and a few who don't believe it. But yes, I am going to be a grandpa come August, and then my second grandkid will be born in September. I got married last August to a wonderful woman who somehow puts up with me. But she'll be 43 this year, and she has a 23 year old son, and a 19 year old daughter. My step-daughter is pregnant, due in August. My stepsons girlfriend is also pregnant, due in September. The funny part, is that we were married August 19th last year, which is also my stepdaughters due date. So if she has my grandson early, within one year, I would have become a husband, step-dad, and grandpa. No, I don't have any kids of my own. No, I'm not going to have any.. my wife has all her plumbing gone, so she can't have any more. So there ya have. In a week, I turn 30, and a month and half later I become a grandpa.

Well my life has been having its down more than its up right now. I suffered a major breakdown here last week and had to go to the er. I am ok now, but they put me on some medicines and I have to go back and see a regular doctor. Bad Weekend
It's been a bad weekend. My mom went into the hosplital again They don't know whats worng with her . she is out now, but im still so worried. my parents are 65 and they still fight and my dad has COPD and infusima and only one lung and is on oxygen and they were fighting and yelling today and my sister and mour kids were there to see it everyone is so upset and stressed in my family. My Freinds

I got a phone call this morning from my brother, the most disturbing thing I have heard in the last few weeks, concerning my mother. Some of you know she has been less than a parenting figure to me. Driving Lesson No15 Or Is It 16...
Can't remember but honestly don't care... Done all my reversing...which I'm spot on at. Reverse parked today - dead easy still remember how to do it! Only thing is because I'm so confident reversing I go too fast... must quell enthusiasm and go slower LOL Had a twitchy clutch foot today, made a few silly errors but it's pretty much all falling into place. Old Boyfriend
I had this boyfriend and he was the best we were together for 5 yrs and we were gonna get married. We had custody of his son, had a nice little family. Then drugs and alcohol stepped in. The drugs and alcohol ruined the relationship and our little family. Its been 10 yrs now and not much has changed for him, hes been in/out of jail/prison. Homeless and living on the streets. Hes almost died a couple of time from alcohol overdose. I keep my distance from him but when he gets a chance he calls or writes manly when he is locked up or in the hospital. Time To Put The Big Girl Panties On....
I just got back from Florida from a work thingy and I did the most amazing thing while there. On Tuesday night my company did a charity event. We were told prior to this trip that we were going to make terminally ill children into pirates and princesses for the the night. It freaked me out. The New Project!
Well heres how it starts out. One 1969 Chevy 1/2 ton pick up. I made the deal finally on it. I did some work and a $100.00 dollars and had it towed home. After it has sat for a little over 2 years...it needed some work. It was full of garbage and junk in the back of it. A tree had fell on the top of the right side of the cab. Huge dent in the top. I had to pound that back into place some. I got it running and found out the gas line had a hole in it. I replaced the line. Then found out the Gas line wasnt tight around the gas filter. Tightened that up...gas lines fixed. The next thing is the gear shifter broke. Someone had converted it from 3 speed on the tree to the floor. I had the shifter welded at a friends shop...good as new. It needed a tune up...so that was taken care of. I cleaned out the back of the truck. I found maybe 300 beer bottles...250 beer cans...lot of misc garbage. It looked like a DUI waiting to happen...with more evidence to hang anyone drunk or not. I cleaned out th

Oh My What Now.
Well some of you know I have been sick for the last month. We first thought it was an ulcer. After being on Meds for 2 weeks I was still having stomach pains. So back to the doctor I go last Monday and on Tuesday I was sent for an ultrasound only to be called that after noon and be told that I have gall stones and to call a surgeon asap. Vacation
Wow, what a weekend. I stayed in a hotel that had a outdoor heated swimming pool, a hammock, a grill, a padio, and the room looked so much like a house. It was awesome. I took my girl up to ghostown. Even though it had been years since i had been there it was great. It was really a family orientated place. In my opinion, alot better than Carowinds where everything costs a arm and a leg. Feeling Out Of It

Getting Old???
Today is Monday July 2nd. The usual random firecracker goes off just frequent enough to drive my cats crazy. (I know cats are supposed to be crazy). sometimes i feel i just want to be wanted like i thirst for the attention but i don't even know why then other times i don't want to be bothered it's not that i'm depressive i think i'm a lot of fun i just have changes of mood lately things aren't satisfying food is good, but there's nothing i crave sex is decent, but it's only with myself i'm not unhappy, but i don't feel joyous either and i sit and think about what really makes me smile usually the insignificant things a surprise phone call a piece of candy someone gives me a good story told by a total stranger and what do these things reveal i like to be thought of i want to be wanted
