I'm a divorced, 50 something year old, female with blond hair, green eyes and porcelain skin. I'm 5'7" and I weigh about 150 lbs. (I'm dieting now, so hopefully next summer my skinny gap jeans will be wearable again ) I have long thin legs, and thin arms (none of that fat that some women my age have hanging down.) I'm not ready to reveal all of my measurements until I lose weight, but the top number is 42DD.

I live in Rochester, NY, which is cold, dreary and rainy most of the year. If we get two months of summer we are extremely grateful. But, forget about getting a spring here. It goes from freezing cold right into hot humid heat.

I have one son who lives in New Orleans, who is 31 years old, who I miss very much.

My interests are music (U2, Doobies, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Aerosmith, The Eagles, etc.) and I'm learning more about Blues and really liking it.

I'm a voracious reader, enjoy the computer, love spending time with good friends, tend to like dramas and silly comedies when it comes to movies, enjoy the outdoors when it's not cold and damp, and when I can afford it, I love to travel. I'm what one would call a "people person."

I'm assertive, but I have a sensitive heart that I've learned to protect. Young women, in particular, tend to come to me as a sounding board, or for advice. I'm like a mother figure, but one who doesn't judge, and who's been there and done that, so they know that I understand their drama, and will listen and keep their confidences without always telling them what to do. Like I did (although, I was a very slow learner), they usually figure it out on their own. Fortunately, though, I left my drama awhile ago, but I have some great memories; and a few sad ones, as well.

I'm retired and I live alone. I babysit to bring in a bit of extra income. I dearly love small children.

Well, that's about it for now... I'm new here, so forgive me if I don't answer someone, or I mess up in some way. Please be gentle with me. I'm just learning the site, but so far it seems to be terrific. It reminds me of the hole in the wall I love to go to occasionally to listen to the best Blues Rochester has to offer! Huggsss to all!
