Well, I think Jeremy will be more proud of me for this blog than anyone will but here goes. (Wait, just for the record - Jeremy - I do miss you sweetie and I'm coming to see you real soon!! :)) I entered my first contest last weekend - the one that some of you have so graciously dropped in on and voted for me in....THANK YOU SO MUCH TO THOSE OF YOU WHO HAVE/DID!!!....XOXOXO....those of you who didn't for whatever reason, no worries - I don't always participate in bombing. lol Well, I think I am just giving up on the whole mess. First of all, I just don't find much interest in it. Some of them can be fun but I'm finding this particular one very irritating to be honest. Friends of mine on here have found that their supposed fans/friends/supporters really weren't supporting them but someone running against them. Now, I have to say that I have comment bombed in some contests where I have had a family member in the contest and a friend/fan has asked for help. I turned the friend down not because I didn't support them but because I was already supporting one of their competitors. BUT I told them that if they found that they were in the top few and my family wasn't one of their competitors at that point, then if they asked for help, I would be sure to help them! And I meant it too! It's just how I am. But the people I am talking about said that they were supporting one and supported another. Not the thing to do in my book. And if it had been me, I would have been cleaning house.
Anyway, the point is I'm venting (thank you for listening...lol) and I am just thinking that most of the contests (90% of the ones I have seen) are just not worth the time and it's each CT members choice as to what to do but I think I'm done. Yes, I will give help to those who ask and maybe even if they never really supported me BUT I'm not entering one and I'm not going to let it take up too much of my time.
There are so many of you that I have talked to in days, weeks, maybe 2 months. If that is the case, you don't have to wait for me to come to you, come to me. It will help me start getting back in touch with you quicker! :) If you left me a message or especially a shout (those are hard for me to get a lot) in the last week, just hang in there, I'll be to ya soon! This contest hasn't allowed me to go too far. But I won't have to worry about that soon, now will I? :]
