Life is good.
Sometimes it takes us down many paths, and hopefully, I have learned a thing or two along the way. I would like to share with you some of my personal philosophies:
1) Learn to say that you are sorry, and do not let the sun set down before closing your eyes to go to sleep, no matter if it's not your fault. You might not be given the chance to say it on another time, and will live with the regret of it always.
2) Do not make promises that you already know that you are unable to complete or have no intentions of keeping. Rather say, I can not commit to that idea now, and will take more time to consider it, or just say, NO... that will not work, rather than to raise someone else's expectations to be filled with future disappointment.
3) When the going gets tough, get yourself up, grip yourself by the pants and hike it up to a new level and DO NOT GIVE UP OR LET ANYONEEEEEEE TELL YOU TO GIVE UP!! Be your only reason that you do not succeed, not because you listened to someone else.
4) You are who keep company with. The old Birds of a Feather, Flock together, is one of the truest sayings. We all keep company of the image we have of ourselves, and sometimes, we need to shake a few birds off of our tree and move to a new tree, and find new birds to hang out with.
5) Find laughter in the midst of troubles,. for that will mend your heart. Search for the lesson in every obstacle given, and instead of focusing on the negatives, learn from the mistakes, but look for something of value that you could gain a stronger self worth and image of yourself.
6) Do not look to lay blame and fault to some one else for your own mistakes and shortcomings. After all, we put ourselves in the situation that was created 99% of the time, and could have made other choices than those that we did. Sometimes, we have to take a deep breath, reflect, and move on. When the horse is dead... get off..
7) Yesterday is just that. Yesterday. Learn and move forward, for this day is our only day and no others are promised to us. Do something different if what we did last time didn't work or be ready to accept the insanity rule, because doing the same thing over and over and then expecting a different result is ludicrous.
8) Try to be pleasant and helpful to other people, for I truly believe in what goes around, comes around. Our wealth matters not to our Maker, but the goodness in our heart and soul does.
Just a few thoughts of mine, from my own experiences and very personal ones that I share with you all.
