I am a 47 yr old Mother of one. In my Bio I mention that I was a throw away teen in the 70's. I have spent many years in forgiveness toward my mother for that. My son is now 18. Mom just sent me a package for Christmas,still holding animosity for me after all these years. How ever, she has not sent my son anything for quite sometime. Several yrs even. Upon opening the package, I found once again, there was nothing for my son(not even a card). This broke my heart. I sit here in tears today wondering which way to go with this..I thought about tossing my gift from her and never speaking to her again (you only get 1 Mother), and then maybe keeping it, but confronting her about how this hurts my son, her grandson...and how it breaks my heart each and every year...Which do you suggest I do?
