Bio:A throw away teen in the 70s' I found myself in Portland Me. I gained employment on a 100 ft dragger, fishing the Atlantic ocean for a living. Soon after my fishing days were over,I became an over the road Trucker and drove professionally for 14 yrs.

My Great GrandMother was Born on "Indian Island" in Penobscot County Maine. I am 1/4 Penobscot. The clan is BEAR , my kndred spirit is WOLF , and I want NO money from this Government.

I am not a victim. There are no lost causes. "I've been there, done that, and know suffering -- but it's all good." I'm still standing. "Can't touch this." Self-pity is an excuse to do nothing. To appeal to sympathy for pity's sake is to seek affirmation of the choice to do nothing. I am empowered by the spirit and support of meaningful experience and I transform with silent resilience.

I have nothing left to prove -- but I would be mistaken to assume that I have nothing left to learn or teach. I am ready to consolidate my resources or channel my experience in preparation for sharing my wisdom, protecting a legacy or to pursue new meaning. In architecting my purpose, the pen has become mightier than the Sword.

The fruits of my labor already exist in my values. My garden of purpose is perennial and forever in need of tending but I am surrounded by the results I have intended to create. I am empowered by the splendor that is my life and my asset is personal validation.

I boldly go... but a willful heart is part of my secret identity. My infinite fortitude is seen by what I do, sacrifice or defy to stand up for what I feel is right, including admitting when I'm wrong, keeping out of it or not dignifying responses provoked by moral cowards and brutes. When resolve is tested I draw on the courage of my true character from the more savage or humble virtues of my natural instincts to maintain objective by composure. This enables me to hold my tongue against bravado, repress claws at empty threats, and not turn tail in pride against passion when it's hard or inconvenient, but to persuade through self-restraint until assimilation is complete or resistance is futile.

I've taken time to consider the possible consequences of my past rigid approach to conflict within my life. I have made room for human frailty and patience, the truth is, No one can live up to such high expectations. I use my downtime to work with my own standards, fear and prejudices. I have had ample time to rewrite my own rules through constructive criticism, self-analysis, meditation or other procedures that helped me get down to the truth and release the suffering rather than hide behind a facade.

I will not let myself be limited, paralyzed, held hostage or alienated by fear or fantasy that relies on exploitive emotional rescue, sacrifice of truth, or victimization. I will not be a prisoner to my own perceptions or expectations. Why should I place a mental gag order on my own suffering or thinking? I am empowered to question or endure by virtue of my own self-worth because there is no honor in sacrificing my self to victimhood.
