Hello. I've been hearing about this Fubar site for a while but never really gave much thought about filling out a page for myself. My brother tried it and was very impressed so I thought I'd give it a try. I'm a 41 year-old single male in the North County area of San Diego. I have never been married and do not have any children. However, I love kids and spend lots of time with my 3 Godsons. I grew up in Minnesota and Wisconsin and have been in San Diego since 1990. I moved here shortly after graduating college when my mother was diagnosed with cancer and given 2 months to live. After she passed away, I decided to stay here in San Diego to be with my dad and brother. In 1994 we opened our own restaurant. It was a lot more work than we had ever imagined. Working 7 days a week, 361 days a year was not good for one's social life and is one of the reasons why I never settled down and started a family. We finally sold it a few years ago. The other reason could be is that I'm kind of shy at first and don't meet a lot of women. Once I meet them though I'm really not that shy. It's just the initial approach that I have a hard time with. Besides spending time with my Godsons, I like going to sporting events, movies, and concerts. I like rock music the best. Not so much the newer heavy metal stuff but I like my bands from the 80's that are still around like Tesla, Queensryche, Metallica, Van Halen, Sammy Hagar, etc. I usually listen to that stuff when I'm driving by myself so I can turn it up really loud and not make everyone else deaf. I also like listening to slower stuff, especially at night. I am 6'5" tall with light brown hair and blue eyes. I like people who are kind, honest, and who have a good heart.
