She sits oceanside
Listening to the sounds
of seagulls flying overhead.
Her mind wanders
as she thinks of things that
have transpired in her life.
Some things were good
Some were not so good.
But lessons were learned and
experience was gained.
As the breeze caresses her face
a tear rolls down her cheek.
There are certain things that
enter her mind , that sometimes
brings sadness ...
Once again ... it was a lesson learned.
As the sun sets in the horizon
She is in awe of it's beauty.
Brilliant oranges and soft yellow tones.
Softening the aches in her heart
bringing a smile to her face.
Such beauty stirs her soul
And once again reminds her that
all is well ...
And her heart is healing.
She stands gives reverence to
Mother Earth & Father Sky
Then walks slowly down the beach
with love in her heart ...
