my lawyer got me a new dr cuz the one i had been going to since aug wasnt really doing anything to help me and was basically helping the company i work for...
so anywho i go to this new dr and he does an x-ray that the other dr did day after accident and "couldnt find anything wrong" and this dr wow he showed me the x=rays and talked to me about them and you can clearly see that 3 vertabra are out of place and onedisk is basically non-existant and another one is what he called a "flat tire" maybe 1/3 of the thickness it should be. he poked me onmy back and down my leg and foot and end result....
3 vertabra out of place, 1 disk gone, another one smooshed, possible knee injury (which i told other dr over and over but was told it was my back pain tricking me to think something wrong withmy knee), siatica and other nerve damage causing severe pain in back and left side of lower body, almost complete numbness in left thigh and foot... result???
immediately taken out of work on complete disability, start with emg (nerve test involving lots of needles and electricity pulsing thru body to detect nerve damage) to show workman comp what he already knows so they will approve further treatment involvong acupuncture and chiropractic therapy likely followed by back surgery and monthly shots in my spine for the rest of my life.....
so guess good news for finally after 10 months getting a dr who actually is interested in helping me and not afraid of the company i work for and am getting results but i cant help but be fucking pissed off..... i'm 28 yrs old and for the first time in my entire life i have the freedom to do thethings i like and enjoy life without kids (i love them dearly) or a man holding me back and just when i start to find things i like and making friendsand be able to do things i like this happens and now i will never beable to do them.... right when my life started its stopped again.... will not be able to go dancing with friends or shopping at the mall or even sit at the cinema to watch a movie cant go in the west coast oceans because the water is too violent, cant go to the gym just when i was 40 pounds from my goal i've now gained 25 pounds and cant exercise to get it back off hell cant even tie my fucking shoes or get out of a chair without makingoldperson noises and swearing....
so yeah great news i know whats wrong and what treatment i can get but dr said will likely never be the same again and have some form of pain and discomfort so cant help but be a little fucking pissed...... usedto joke that i'm in my 20's stuck in the bosy of a 50 yr old well now my dr confirmed it.... said if he hadnt ahd my file witht he x-rays he would have thought he was looking at an x-ray of a 50 yr old spine in bad condition..... FUCK!!!!!!!
