Good Morning today’s topic as you read is “when clever ideas go terribly wrong.” We all have had those grand ideas that just seem like the thing to do and why hasn’t anyone thought of this before your…right? Well… I will give you three accounts of dofus at work… The last one is just plain terrible and should be a DARWIN AWARD… I will not send the video on this one as like I stated last week it’s very gory and for the family of this less then intelligent man will be scared for life… but first the lesser of the three.
A floor-fitter from Hackney, East London thought he had a pretty slick idea for a proposal. He was going to fit a $12,000 engagement ring into a helium balloon so he could, ugh, literally pop the question. Unfortunately for everyone involved a bit of wind caught hold of the balloon and blew away. This poor dude attempted to track the balloon by car but to no avail. And, of course, insurance is for suckers. He’s hoping for a miracle both in terms of the jewelry and salvaging his relationship. Ok, here is my thought… first off, if indeed the man has a receipt for the ring, showing he purchased it and not trying to bilk money out of Insurance agencies (which I guess it was NOT insured) then I believe the bride to be, which the jury is steal out on whether or not she will marry him until he gets a replacement…hmmm sounds like a spoiled brat to me and she deserves 100% less then this man was going to give her. Actually I think he could do better by letting her find another money pit… ok on with story two…
Jeremy Hart, 24, was arrested in Topsham, Maine, in December after allegedly burglarizing a home while the residents were asleep. As Hart was leaving, according to police, he hit a snowbank in the driveway, causing the car to stall, and Hart to become so cold that he sheepishly walked back, rang the victims' doorbell, and asked if he could come in and get warm. (The residents, aware that Hart had just been in their house, had already called police.) [Times Record (Brunswick, Maine), 12-27-07] See some burglars become so callused with their job, they think they smarter then their victims. Surprised he didn’t ask for a plate of food or a beer or something… robbing people makes one thirsty I imagine he will finally get three square meals and a cot… and bars…
Ok last story here it is. This one is from my pail Linda a cutie from Canada and who is very close to adding another year on her driver’s license. Ok the word graphic does not explain this video at all, like I said this man had to be the dumbest person alive… well at one time anyway. It takes place on one of those safari type ranges…where you sign a paper resolving any responsibility to anyone that steps out of their vehicle. Well at this one location, Lions were seen to be lounging in the shade of some sparse trees. It looked like an opportunistic place for photos from the group that drove up and parked. The video shows various people hanging out trying to get that once in a lifetime shot of the king of beasts in their natural habitat. I said Lions…but this group was Lioness… the hunter, the gatherers of the Lion Species. The male lion is supposed to be the king of beast, mostly due to they are bullies, they normally do not hunt live pray because they are lazy and choose to take from others that did the work… So back to our cast of photographers oh and thanks to one soul who choose to video this trip a video camera too… The cars are parked in a mish-mash type of way where as not a vehicle could pull anymore forward then they are. They all seem to be facing the animals with the exception of one curious Lioness looking into the back window of one of the cars. Just so happens our stupid man is in that car and unknown to him she is there stalking the contents. He apparently does not have the best camera angle for a good picture and tries to improve it… NOT By moving his Vehicle…but by exiting it… Before I go on… Cats (household cats) are cute and cuddly, and weight generally in the neighborhood of 2 pounds to 10 pounds if you have one of those cats that resembles Jaba-the-Hut from STAR WARS then you know what I mean…But.. Lions and Tiger…however weight slightly a bit more…like 100 times more or generally 200 plus pounds and males go even higher to 400 plus pounds… Like I said they still look cute and cuddly but they will rip you apart in not time…and females the Lioness of the group tend to attack together… Our curious photographer found that out the hard way while his family and other familes watched in horror and nothing could be done…The man watched his death fold out to three Lioness’s all because he lost his mind and decided he wanted that once in a lifetime shot…I think he got it…
Apparently the family is suing the outdoor facility, perhaps the nations too that their protection rights were not upheld… I think when stupid does and stupid is…your rights get thrown out… I am a hunter and can safely say I would not even pick up any wild Bunnies for fear of get bit or scratched relentlessly. As I said this was way more graphic if you viewed it…
On the lighter side… Yesterday was Saint Patty’s Day and I cooked Corn Beef and Cabbage along with Mandy’s favorite potatoes (garlic Mashed) only to find out she had to go into work due to someone calling in… so our Saint Patrick’s day dinner was only going to be sharing by Bonnie Jax and me… Not so… I made her up a plate and drove it down to old Navy for her… She met me at the door with a huge grin pointing with both index fingers at me to another cashier saying… That’s My DAD!... Times like these… makes you proud to be a parent…
