What dreams may come when you hold my hand
And whisk me away to a far away land
On horses of white, muscular snow;
Brilliant in gliding, silent but bold.
My hair will flow long in the wind
The sun will be bright and warm on my skin.
My aura will grow tall with red and pink
With all of the words that I think you would think
And the world will go on with flowers and groves
Of sycamore trees and patience and love…

What dreams may come in sleep where time stands still.
The dreams of love are pure and real,
Like a newborn child waiting to learn,
Sitting alone patiently waiting my turn
While spirits in black float around my head
Thinking of you and the things you once said.
The warmth of the sun brings dark to light.
A new day arrives so warm and bright,
Reminds me of times filled with laughter and fun
Lying here thinking of…

What dreams may come in this land of the dreaming
As I lay, my thoughts spinning, lingering on the living
As you hold my body, pressed to your chest
As we dream of moments and all that comes next.
I want you to stay, I need you to be here in my earth,
But, alas, when morning comes the though of you is dispersed.
Sadness comes in droves to my physical being
As you whisper away in vapors and leave me.
Though, I still have my dreams so I'll close my eyes for a while
As my brain, again, plucks out your growing file

What dreams may come...
When we lay together to sleep
While your eyes they gently weep
As I hold your body next to mine
When the warmth of your touch is hard to find
In this love we try and hide
With these words we can not describe
With the purest thoughts deep inside
To know that we are alive
In colors of vivid desire
When I awaken your inner fire
so When you leave me. When you go
I guess these dreams I'll never know
