whoopee! Who would have Dreamed?
Funny how those days come before you know it!
I hope that when this day arrived,
it happened with everything you'd
thought you could accomplish by now -
ACCOMPLISH!
and
Went according to planned . . .
hmmm
While trying to decide on a subject matter today,
I just went with the flow ... I'd knew I'd post "Kid Rock"
newest single release for those who havent heard it.
I kind of had a color scheme and look in mind,
but nothing set in stone and went with whatever
popped up and tired it out ... and the subject
for discussion ... much like my life -
Just fell into place!
So, It's funn how things work out ...
While looking for 'blue' things to add
for flare here, I seen the Crystal Ball
and was going to add that last ...
(for each side of the vid-screen)
and that's when it hit me ...
Are you where you thought you'd be?
I thought about asking you to look ahead
and predict your future or explain an agenda ...
But I thought it be kinda neat to look back
around 10 or 20 years ago (depends on you)
and think where you thought you would be
in life right now ...
and even if those dreams of yesteryear
have any relevance on you/your life today?
I alway told my children to reflect back about two to five years
(when they thought they would die if they didnt get this or that)
How important something was at that time ... a toy, a friend etc..
and think if they even think about it anymore or if it's still import now?
So in that way ...
Think back to the obscure things you used to dream about.
And thought your being doing this -or- owning that ...
ME?
10 years ago I was pissed at the world, still am ...
I'll go about 11 years ... when I was more idealistic:
I thought I'd still be married to Lexy's mom ...
owning the three rental properities & my resturant.
Still secretly desirer some martial things (a Rolex)
and rebuilding a classic mustang in my oversized
garage with a build in dog house/receration room
with a well stocked bar for guest to come drink.
Oh, and a professional dart player ...
ummm I've got none of these - nor want them!
W e l l . . . the car would still be great! lol
And -Y O U???
The drawing was my VERY first computer drawing.
I'd never tried to figure out the old windows 98 'paint'.
(funny still use the same thing)
After being on here a month or so (that was 2006)
I had seen the same old glitter text pg-13 graphics
that there was to see. And I just wanted to do
something different than what everyone else was sending ...
Plus it gave me an excuse to try a form of art
I'd never tried before. Although it's as amateur
and crude - the old camel holds a special
meaning -lol- Like saving your first kindergarten
crayon drawing (and about as impressive) haha
That drawing was indeed what got me interested
in learning more about HTML and graphics.
Well today I wanted to try something new with it -
Being I've sent that one out probably more than
ANY other (with tweaks here and there)
I used it as a background so I could add
movement and just give it a 'different' look.
I noticed that it didn't look quite the same as
my original draft looked - well table sizes will
vary on each page, even here compared to
my practice page, so - I'm still learning ...
(it will expand to a predetermined %size -
so if there an extra large graphic on someone page,
it will look different than another that doesn't have large postings)
But heres (almost) what it
was supposed to look like:
