I am fun-loving and a sincere, compassionate indivdual. I like watching sunsets and sunrises. I love smiles and laughter. I love music and fireplaces, beaches and waterfalls and Christmas!
I love to travel by plane, train, ship, automobile -- anywhere and everywhere! I cruise, take road trips or just head out on the spur of the moment for a weekend away! I like the wind and the rain and holding hands. I love electric blankets in the wintertime and warm hugs and kisses anytime!I'm a NASCAR fan and I collect pigs (not real ones).
I moved to Kentucky from Southern California in 1996. I have been a widow since November of 2007 and in March of this year, I decided it was time to pick up the pieces and get back into the swing of things. I have 3 grown children -- all girls and the love of my life is my granddaughter. I do like to flirt and love to be flirted with! I am on a journey of discovery of the new me. I have lost 87 pounds and 4 sizes since my husband's death and for the first time in a lot of years I really like me!
I like men who are honest and caring with a good sense of humor. I want a man who can make me giggle and laugh and one who can laugh with me and is not afraid to cry with me, if needs be. I want a man who still knows the meaning of the word "gentleman" and is quick to open doors for me, help me on with my sweater, pull out my chair, etc. I need a man who can appreciate me for who I am and delight in that person. I am looking for the man who can inspire me, intrigue me and love me all at once!

I love the fine arts -- operas, ballets, theatre, concerts, etc. But I am just as comfortable in a sleeping bag under the stars.
I like all kinds of music and sang in a band for 4 years. I can listen to classical, country, jazz, big band, top 40's, blues, bluegrass, classic rock. My favorite singers and songs tend to come from the 70's --- well, I am 50!
I am an avid Scrapbooker and have taught several classes to beginning scrapbookers.
I love singing, dancing, playing the piano, working out, spending time with my granddaughter, getting pedicures, and being pampered and spoiled.
