I was searching for 2007 Predictions when I came across your website. I must have spent an entire afternoon there reading everything...and I have never visited a site that I agreed with completely, except for yours. Thank you again!
You are correct. Ignorance is evil, but as a colleague and I were discussing a few weeks ago, if we were to tell our co-workers what we know, they would consider us to be "very good employees, but a bit mentally unbalanced". I refer to astrology daily, but when I mention the stars to my co-workers (especially when things are going awry and they are wondering why), they still look at me like I am crazy. I suppose it is more comfortable to retain a "powerless victim" status rather than become informed. It doesn't stop me though, so I guess I can be considered somewhat stubborn (Taurus) when it comes to the stars. It still amazes me that in this day and age, we remain inexcusably closed-minded.
I live and work in Alaska for a very large (1800 employees) Alaska Native Health Organization, but I am sad to say that most everyone I know considers astrology to be nothing more than "mumbo jumbo" entertainment. Thank goodness for your site and thank you for the warning that we need to teach our children in a much different environment than we have been. I am very open minded with my children and grandchildren, but my children are already grown and sadly, they have been influenced by the rest of society (except my daughter), so it can be a challenge to engage them - but I keep trying.
Anyway Dr. Turi, I know you are a busy man, so I won't expect a reply to my question. I also build websites and databases and a few weeks ago, I purchased a domain titled /////ology.com I have a soap making (educational) site and a personal family site, but I wanted to build an informative astrology-related site. The problem was, I couldn't get started on it because I didn't feel like I had enough solid information to refer to until I read the information on your website. I wonder if you would permit me to refer people to your site?
In closing, thank you for your time, your method of astrology, your views, your insight, and your passion to make this world a more informed and better place to live.
PS - If you ever need someone to edit your web pages, please let me know. I noticed that you mentioned that you tend to misspell words and I'm sure it is because you are French and the English language (including spelling) can be challenging. I live in the Hawaiian Islands and on Friday, January 12, I was shopping and a nice woman came up to me and said she had heard about the BIG 8.2 quake above Japan. She said her nephew was a policeman and they were evacuating people next to the coastline since there was a Tsunami Warning. Well, it got everyone quite excited here, but the warning was eventually cancelled. Your warnings for certain days are so Right on -- I am constantly in amazement. Since I moved to the islands, my life is so much better not just because of the weather. I am more of a SENSITIVE. Moving to a new place can really make a difference. I can "feel" earthquakes before they strike.
About two days before, I feel vibrations in both my arms, sort of like an early warning system. This began happening before the 6.7 quake off the Big Island in October. That is why your Astro-cartography is so important. Where you live can kill you or make your psychic self develop. Thanks SO much for keeping all of us aware and up to date.
