Not quite happy, not quite sad.
Making sense of a world gone mad.
Just a bit down, just a bit blue.
Seeing lies, in what I know is true.
Relax, there's no need to panic.
It’s only me, just slightly manic.
I’m having a blast, enjoying the ride.
Climbing to the top of a great big slide!
Depression hurts everyone around the pit.
Indecisions and fears quietly kill the spirit.
Paranoid, watching everything all around.
Like being invisible and not having sound.
Not quite happy, not quite sad.
Making sense of a world gone mad.
Just a bit down, just a bit blue.
Seeing lies, in what I know is true.
Sometimes it's manic, sometimes depressed.
Making progress, and finding some success.
The bell jar doesn’t always completley descend.
Not completley cut off from good friends.
Watch out, for it's a long way to fall down.
Falling in circles like some circus clown.
Then there's the high flying in the clouds.
So wise, witty, charming and even proud.
Not quite happy, not quite sad.

Examining this twisted life worth living,
trying to be fair, a little more forgiving.
Yet even understanding the subtle cause,
can't stop the cycle from another pause.
