ANTALYA, Turkey -- Mackenzie Hughes, Albin Choi and Corey Conners combined for a 1-over par 143 in the final round Sunday as Canada finished tied for sixth at the rain-shortened World Amateur Team Championship. Harrison Smith Womens Jersey . The Canadian trio posted a 11-under par 417 to finish tied with Norway 13 strokes back of the United States squad of Chris Williams, Justin Thomas, and Steven Fox. It was the 14th Eisenhower Trophy for the Americans, who posted a 54-hole score of 24-under par 404. Teams were forced to complete the third and final round on Sunday morning after play was suspended because of darkness on Saturday evening. The biennial stroke-play event had been shortened to 54 holes due to weather. With four birdies on the back-nine, including three consecutive birdies on holes 14 to 16 on the PGA Sultan Course, Conners posted a final-round 1-under 70, while Choi and Hughes shot 2-over 73 and 4-over 75, respectively, to close out the championship. "Mackenzie, Albin and Corey represented Canada and themselves in a first-class manner, and will benefit and learn from this great experience and so will I," "Sixth place isnt what the guys wanted, but I am very proud of the effort and professionalism the group showed throughout the championship," said Canadas coach Derek Ingram in a statement. "We didnt have our best stuff in the final round, but the guys battled the entire way." Mexico was second at 19-under 409, while defending champions France, Republic of Korea and Germany finished tied for third at 15-under 413. Hughes, who hails from Dundas, Ont., topped the Canadian contingent. He tied for 19th with a 54-hole tally of 4-under 210, 11 strokes back of two-time reigning Mexican Amateur champion Sebastian Vazquez. Vazquez bested the field individually with a score of 15-under 199, one stroke better than Williams, the top-ranked player in the World Amateur Golf Ranking. Torontos Choi and Conners, of Listowel, Ont., both finished tied for 33rd at 1-under 213. The World Amateur Team Championship has been played since 1958. Tiger Woods, Phil Mickelson and Jack Nicklaus all played at the event before turning pro. Antoine Winfield Jersey . His second win, in 2010, was about pure dominance -- he led 155 of the 200 laps. This years victory was about standing among the all-time greats. Chuck Foreman Jersey .4 million for winning the Tour Championship and another $10 million for the overall FedEx Cup. Not a bad Sunday. Was it that Snedeker has truly become a player capable of winning a major? Was it I wonder what Snedekers caddie, Scott Vail of Oshawa, Ont. http://www.nflvikingsteam.com/kyle-rudolph-jerseys . The first-place Giants used 11 pitches, matching a major league record for extra-inning games. They remained 4 1/2 games ahead of Los Angeles in the NL West because the Dodgers also lost at home in extra innings, to San Diego. Fran Tarkenton Womens Jersey . -- Brewers manager Ron Roenicke spent much of last season matching wits with Tony La Russa, right up to the moment when St. Adrian Peterson Elite Jersey . -- Warriors centre Andrew Bogut insists he will no longer even attempt to guess when he might return to the court for Golden State, saying only that he is out "indefinitely.TSN.ca NFL Editor Justin Boone runs down the top waiver wire pickups with a focus on the coming week and rest of the season. QUARTERBACKS Ryan Fitzpatrick (vs. Titans)If youve been following the Bills, you know that things havent exactly gone Fitzpatricks way in the last two weeks. After leading the NFL in touchdowns through four games, he fell back to earth against two very stout defences (49ers, Cardinals) on the road. The antidote for what ails Fitzpatrick is on the way, as the Bills head back home and welcome the Titans defence that is more than happy to let teams catch passing touchdowns. The Titans are allowing just under 300 passing yards per game and have given up the fifth most touchdowns through the air. Josh Freeman (vs. Saints)After a slow start to the year, Freemans arm has come alive in his last two games, throwing for 627 yards and four touchdowns. His opponents in those games (Redskins, Chiefs) werent exactly elite defences, but neither is the Saints team that Freeman will face this week. The Saints are 26th against the pass and have struggled under new defensive coordinator Steve Spagnuolo. The added bonus is that Freeman will have to outscore Drew Brees and company, forcing the Bucs to open up their offence even more. Others to consider - Brandon Weeden (at Colts), Sam Bradford (vs. Packers), John Skelton (at Vikings) RUNNING BACKS Felix Jones (at Panthers)Everything is coming up Felix. First, he had a solid cameo on the season premiere of fantasy football sitcom The League, where he was genuinely funny. Then, he stepped in for an injured DeMarco Murray and rattled off 105 yards on 19 touches and found the end zone. The Panthers have been kind to opposing rushers, offering up 127.4 yards per game on the ground. Murray will likely miss a week or two and with bye weeks in full swing, Jones could be the perfect temporary solution for your team. Daryl Richardson (vs. Packers)For the second time this season, Richardson eclipsed 100 combined yards, playing behind veteran Steven Jackson. New head coach Jeff Fisher has given the seventh round draft pick plenty of work early in the season, taking advantage of the speed and elusiveness that he brings to the field. While it would still take a Jackson injury for Richardson to become a fantasy starter, he may be an option for desperate teams in search of bye week help, or in deepeer leagues as a stash and see player. Jared Allen Jersey. . Others to consider - William Powell (at Vikings), LeGarrette Blount (vs. Saints), Phillip Tanner (at Panthers), Montario Hardesty (at Colts), Mike Goodson (vs. Jaguars) WIDE RECEIVERS Josh Gordon (at Colts)The Browns made a significant investment when they selected Gordon in the second round of the supplemental draft, forfeiting next years second rounder. Early in the season that looked like another Browns personnel error, but in the last two games Gordon has shown flashes of being a contributor on offence. A week after catching two passes that were both touchdowns and went for a total of 82 yards, Gordon delivered an encore performance hauling in three balls for 99 yards and a score. With Brandon Weeden unafraid to take chances down field, Gordon will still need to hit on the big play in order to be worthy of a fantasy start, but the same could be said of Torrey Smith during his rookie season a year ago. Brandon Gibson/Chris Givens (vs. Packers)With Danny Amendola out, Gibson looks like the safer play in the Rams receiving corps. Gibson had seven receptions for 91 yards against the Dolphins, while Givens was still reliant on the deep ball, catching three passes for 85 yards. Sam Bradford is a better quarterback than people give him credit for and every week one of these two receivers is going to be a solid fantasy play, but figuring out who that is will depend on the teams gameplan. I tend to favour talent, which leads me to Givens, but the rookie is raw and Gibson will be more dependable. Others to consider - Devery Henderson (at Buccaneers), Doug Baldwin (at 49ers), Stephen Hill  (at Patriots) TIGHT ENDS Brandon Myers (vs. Jaguars)The truth is there arent many options this time of year as far as tight ends go on the waiver wire. The early season surprises have been claimed and now you are left digging through the dumpster for what remains. Myers isnt going to win you a week, but he has yardage totals of 55, 86, and 65 in the last three games, while catching on average five passes per game. Myers has yet to reach the end zone, but if youre looking for a one week filler, then he is likely the best option out there. Others to consider - Coby Fleener (vs. Browns), Tony Scheffler (at Bears), Lance Kendricks (vs. Packers) ' ' '
